  1. Many of our brides and grooms have lately opted for an extra photo session besides the typical wedding photos. Of course TTD sessions are very popular of late but we have also come across a new type of session that let´s the bride and groom really ¨experience Mexico¨. We call it Guey photo. Guey is a mexican word for Dude...and we really feel these pictures bring out a ¨Hey Dude you gotta see this¨ feeling when we create these photos. Last week we shot a Guey photo session with a bride and groom that got married the day before. They chose not to wear wedding attire and had just as much fun as we paraded through the Mexican Barrio, Grocery Store, and famous La Quinta Avenue.
  2. We took pictures of a recent wedding at the Mayakoba Bayan Tree and it was gorgeous. The locations are very serene and the natural beauty is just overwelming. Also the gondolas offer a very unique way of transportation for the bride as well as the guests. Here are some pictures from our recent wedding we shot at the Banyan tree. www.bluelenscaribe.com Wedding Photography of the Riviera Maya

  4. Many brides & grooms are so focused on getting great pictures of the getting ready, ceremony and after but when it comes to the fiesta they usually don´t think how fun the pictures and memories can be. So we just wanted to show you some pictures of a great fiesta and to remind you that these pictures can be just as great! Enjoy
  5. We have shot a few weddings at Ceiba del Mar and it has beautiful locations for photography. If you want to checkout the scenery here is a wedding we did there earlier this year. Â Ceiba del Mar- Photo Slideshow
  6. Finding aforable *great photographers* in the Riviera Maya is actually not to difficult. We understand the destination wedding concept and most packages are often very negotiable. Check out slideshows of different photographers on this site to determine the style you like and then you can go from there. Good luck!
  7. Hi! We´ve done a few TTD sessions at XCARET and it´s really amazing and a ton of fun here are some photos to show you the lighting in the caves...   you can view more photos of TTD at Xcaret´s cenote here
  8. Well you have to take into consideration a couple things...are you wearing a veil? and How long will you be outside? Most of our brides have worn their hair up I´m guessing just to avoid the heat and wind factor. I´ll show you some pictures to give you ideas of different styles. Hope this is helpful.  Â
  9. Well most resorts in the Riviera Maya who do have in -house photographers usually charge a basic fee for outside vendors but as I read on their website they don't permit outside vendors. you might just have to wait to contact somebody from the hotel. Good luck!
  10. There are many resources available on BDW that can help you with all your needs. The Tulum area as well as the Riviera Maya are very wedding friendly and I'm sure you will have no trouble finding great vendors for your event. Don't forget to check out photo slide shows of different weddings in the area to give you great ideas. Good luck with the search!
  11. The Riviera Maya is considered to be a popular wedding destination due to the inhabitants, food, history, culture and overall beauty of the area. All of these are full of life, enthusiasm and romance. Imagine getting married in such a beautiful place. Throughout the past few years Blue Lens Caribe has dedicated their profession in order to document the beauty, emotion, fashion and love through the faces and places of the Riviera Maya. We have created this forum in order to give you an idea of the beautiful locations where you could possibly hold your wedding. We encourage you to ask questions about each location and as time goes by we will continue to upload more slideshows and videos to help you make you decisions.
