  1. Sorry girls didn't realize the pics came out so little. I'm going to try to post again so you can read the labels.... the bubbles came out blurry the wording on the label says; Rice may be a tradition. But bubbles are more fun. Blow your bubble kisses as we become Mr. & Mrs.
  2. I've been home sick the past 2 days so decided to take advantage and complete some more DIY projects. Here they are; Wedding bubbles - bought these at the dollar store 9 for $1.00, created the damask labels to wrap around the bottle, used my cricut to cut the tags, cuttlebugged the tiffany blue and wrapped it around with the ribbon. Oh Sh#t kits - bought the ziplock bags at Walmart in the craft section, created the labels using Avery mailing labels #8164 and added the meds. Cold feet socks - I saw these for sale on some site for about $15.00 and thought this was easy enough to make myself. Just purchased a pair of socks, and printed out the wraparound label on cardstock. I cut out the UPC code and materials info from the original label and glued it on the back. I will have these delivered to FI before the ceremony along with the budoir photo album that I am having made for him. Key and Tip holders - bought the badge holders from Office Depot they were 12 for $5.49, the lanyards were purchased from Pouch-n-Coil 25 for $9.95. I used Staples matte white business cards and then glued them to the black cardstock. That's it for today ladies.......
  3. I have to agree with most of the other girls here. I wouln't want to take meds that have been handled.

    Hi :)

Congrats and welcome. You will find plenty of info here to help you decide.
  5. I am looking to buy a white paper parasol with black letters that says "Thank you" or "Just Married". I'm only using it for a few pictures and really do not want to spend $35-$45 for something that I'm barely going to use. If anyone has a slightly used one - I would love to take it off your hands.
  6. I booked with HDC after reading reviews and seeing some great pics. I'm getting married in a month and a half and will post pics and give review as soon as I get back.
  7. Don't worry before you know it, it is April. My wedding is May 1st and I can't believe that it is around the corner. Welcome to the forum and happy planning!
  8. I love my cricut expression and cuttlebug! The cricut is not a printing machine it is a cutting machine that works with cartridges to make different shapes, letters, and just about anything. The cuttlebug is an embossing machine. I purchased my cricut on ebay with 2 cartridges it usually runs about $350 with one cartridge I won my bid at $220, the cuttlebug runs about $65 I got mine at Michaels with a 40% off coupon. I would suggest you go to youtube and type in cricut or cuttlebug and watch some of the tutorials. You will be amazed. I'm addicted!!!!!

It was a little bit of a pain but worth it. Hope this helps. Attachment 4694 LipBalm stickers.doc

  13. Just finished my Tears of joy packets!!!! Yay another completed project - I got to use my new Cricut and Cuttlebug that FI bought me last month. I love these things, I just wish I had them months ago I could've used them for so much more. For the envelopes: I used 8.5 x 11 Tiffany blue card stock purchased at AC Moore 6 for $1.00 ( I could only get one envelope per sheet). Cut the envelopes out on the Cricut. For the monograms: I used 12 x 12 Black cardstock purchased at AC Moore 4 for $1.00 ( I only used one sheet I was able to get 30 black scallops on one sheet). The Damask sheet I actually made on power point I used a white 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock. I just copied a Damask print and copied it over and over on the sheet until the whole sheet was damask. Then cut the "C" scallop monogram on my Cricut. Then glued the Damask over the black scallop. Tissues - purchased at Michael's these suckers were expensive $9.00 but I had a 50% coupon. I have vowed not to pay full price for anything over $5.00 (LOL - we are on a budget). I then assembled my envelopes and embossed them on my Cuttlebug. I used the Swirls folder. I LOVE the way these came out. Tears of joy labels made on 8.5 x 11 full sheet sticker paper from Avery - ( I already had this) - I used the business card template from Avery then just cut them out on the paper cutter. Added black ribbon - which I also had, these came originally with my invitations but I didn't use them. Added the labels, a little bling, and the monogram to the back and DONE!!!!

I still have a bunch of other little projects that I want to do. It's crunch time now, isn't scary and exciting at the same time that we are getting married in 2 months? Yikes! Good luck getting your stuff done - can't wait to see your pics.
  20. Here is my dress, FI's outfit, bridesmaids dresses, and ring bearer outfit. I think everything came together very nicely.... Dress from Alfred Angelo; Shirt and linen pants from Havana Nine; Dresses from White House Black Market and parasols from save-on-crafts.com; Shirt from Old Navy, tie and ring pillow from Etsy the ring bearer will wear black linen capri pants that I'm having made for him; Now in search for Tiffany blue shoes - I think I might just buy a pair in white and have them dyed since I can not find anything I like in the right color...
  21. Weekend survival kits that I put together to include in our OOT bags. They include; Hand sanitizer - purchased from Target .47 each Sunscreen - purchased from Target .97 each Chapstick - purchased from BJ's pack of 10 for $9.50 Bliss bodybutter - got from a friend who works at a W Hotel I used white card stock and sandwich size ziplock bags (already had these supplies).... It was pretty easy and quick to do. I really loved this bouquet that I saw on Etsy but just could not see myself paying $115 for fake flowers. I decided to attempt on making it myself and I have to say I am really happy with the outcome. I ordered a bouquet that was already made from save-on-crafts.com for $18.99 - this is what it looked like when it arrived. I ordered 5 black ostrich feathers from them as well for $19.95, and the damask ribbon from etsy seller bowpeepbows for $5.00. I already had the tiffany blue ribbon that I had purchased at Michael's. I removed all of the leaves, little flowers, and the rhinestone springs from the bouqet and started adding the feathers. I then took the damask ribbon and just wrapped it around the ribbon that was already there and added the tiffany blue ribbon. Final touches - used the rhinestones that I had taken off and just added a few to some of the roses and to the tiffany blue ribbon. It took me a little over an hour to get it just the way I wanted it! And I saved $72.00. Here is the final product That's it for now ladies - have to go finish my tip and key holders and Oh sh*t kits!
