I would very much love to have a group photo done right after the ceremony but I have been told by a few DBs that it's hopeless trying to get everyone assembled etc. How many of you did it at your wedding? Can you post the pic? For those not yet married, do you plan to have a group photo done? (sorry if this has already been covered and I missed it, I searched!)

My FI's one request for our wedding was that I wear my hair up, but I can't find a style I love yet...I definitely want a stargazer lily pinned in somehow, my girls dresses are fuchsia and white so it will match perfectly! StargazerLily.pdf -

We are paying for our photographer's travel expenses for the week (around $1300) and he is bringing his fiance at his own expense. He is a good friend so I know he will be taking photos all week of our group and will be available whenever we need him on the day of the wedding. He is giving us the edited CD of photos and even threw in our engagement shoot as well!

We are definitely having a jack & jill/stag & doe. Pretty much everyone has one where we're from! It's a great way to get everyone together for a fun party and we know people who have raised as much as $15,000 at their stag & doe. It is a lot of work though, there are prizes to buy (we plan to get a Wii to raffle off, golf clubs, that sort of thing), tickets to be made up, a hall to rent, food to oraganize, liquor and beer to pick up (along with the licenses)...it's not something you can throw in a month, that's for sure. But the hard work is worth it! We are having ours a few weeks before we leave.

Hi Ladies, Glad there is a thread just for us! I am getting married at ILA on April 27th, 2010. I am dying to see the first wedding photos from the resort, so it will be interesting to see who that first bride is! So far, we have exactly 60 guests booked, inluding my fiance and I. My good friend is also getting married the same week, same resort as us so between our groups, we will be travelling with about 100 people! I'm wondering if anyone has been able to get specifics on where exactly their ceremony and reception will be taking place? Thanks!
