Finally a La Romana Bride!! I think this resort looks STUNNING! I am a huge fan of the Dreams resorts and the wedding ceremony locations looks perfect! I can't wait to hear your review. my only main questions are: 1.) how did you find the resort? It's getting 50/50 reviews on trip advisor. People say things like the walls are too thin, and just random stuff. Maybe they are just complaining! 2.) Did you find the gazabo location private enough?! This is one of my favorites. I've looked at so many resorts that I dream of them at night now! haha oh god - that's bad! Thanks and Congrats!!

So i'm going though Travel books like crazy trying to find the right resort. I just came accross the Paradisus in Punta Cana... this resort looks truly luxurious!?! It looks down right beautiful. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind Did you find the resrot too big or was it easy to get around? Is there a wedding gazabo? I'd like a somewhat private area. do you know if you can have your wedding reception outside on beach or on a terrace? I can't wait to see your pics!! Congrats.

I'm deciding between Dreams La Romana and Dreams Tulum in Mexico. The reason why I like La Romana more is because the ceremony locations are exactly what I want. But the wedding coordinator hasn't gotten back to me (the DT coordinator has written me twice already) and i'm nervous about some of the reviews on the resort itself... I think doing a site visit is amazing- I wish I could do the same. It seems like there are a million Dreams Tulum brides but no La Romana brides! I have all the details I want on DT - but would love to know more about La Romana! I guess it's because it's so new?

Hi Everyone, My Fiance and I have just recently decided to have a destination wedding. I have been looking at so many resorts -ah i'm so tired! haha The two that i've really narrowed it down to are Dreams Tulum in Mexico and Dreams La Romana in Dominican Republic. I love the Dreams resorts - they seem so luxurious, good staff, nice locations, etc. My have a delima with both: 1.) Dreams Tulum- I want a somewhat private wedding location but i'd like for it to be outside as well. I just heard back from the wedding coordinator and she said that I can get married on the convention centre terrace. Has anyone seen this? Would you recomend it? Other then that the resort looks perfect. 2.) Dreams La Romana - The gazabo looks Perfect! Just my style. But the resort itself seems to have 50/50 reviews. Some people love it and others are not so inlove. Tricky one... If anyone has any information for me you'd be helping me with hours of searching on the internet! or if you have any other resort that you'd recomend I'm all ears. Resorts need to allow kids, wedding outside (Gazabo style- little more private) and a 5 star preferably. Anyways that's it- hopefully this site can help me out!! Thanks, Shybear
