PynkLemonade replied to vdaybride's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
Interested in the beach themed flower girl basket, crystal hair pin, 20 raffia fans, and 7 sets of heart name card holders. I will send you a PM and I am located in the US and have a paypal acct already set up. Thanks! -
Hey your my date twin also!!! Good luck planning, we have a little less than 5 months to go Welcome to the forum, it has been a God send with our planning process!

I think you did a good job; however I would change the color of your names, it's blending in with the purple background and I worry for you about how the print work will look once you try to get them printed. Have you thought about using another color for the names, like a lavender? It does look great though! But wanted to provide feedback like you asked

Erin, I am at that period now where I don't want to do anything else, lol. Guess I am all pooped out but now I really need to start the formal invitation and stick with just one idea bc my sister keeps telling me I have to much going on when I wish she could just see inside my brain so she can know what I'm talking about, lol! And Erin the tats are amazing! I love the one that takes up your entire side! Girl you got some courage for that one! -

Thanks Ladies!!! Now I am working on the invitations and getting the stuff done for them. So much to do with only 5.5 months left! -
I just sent my save the dates out the 2nd week of January and our wedding is August 9th. One thing I based it off was that our travel agent advised us that the trip has to be paid off 45 days in advance so I am trying to get information out as soon as possible for those guests who will need payment plans so that they can book now and pay as they go. My formal invitation will probably go out sometime in April. Hope this helps!

Hey Ladies, so I finally figured out how to post pictures on here so I would love for you guys to check out our save the dates, so if you have some time check them out here... http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...6/#post1183671 -
I finally got my Save the Dates done!! I am so pleased with the outcome. We decided to do luggage tags Save the Dates!! I found this idea online and thought it was really unique and of course anyone who knows me knows that I love to be different, lol. So take a peek and please leave feedback and your thoughts if you have time. Below is the information on how we put them together. I am very blessed that my sister is an event planner and has played an integral part in all of my stationary products (place cards, table numbers, save the date design, bridal shower invitation, and our monograms!) We ordered 100 luggage tags (since this was the minimum you could order) from Luggage Tag 1840-620x Colored Molded Rigid Plastic. We only used half but hey I thought it was worth the deal and maybe I can sell the rest or find some use for them somehow. Next my sister ordered custom business cards from Vistaprint to print the front and back. The front we made like a standard luggage tag with all the information listed and on the back we used our custom monogram that my sister created for us. We used grosgrain ribbon for the loops from JoAnn's Fabric (they were on sale for $1.00 a roll and we only needed about 6 rolls of each ribbon. I bought the 60 starfish charms off eBay for $4.00 and another 50 from another bride that was selling them, so I'll have to find another project to use the rest of those too. I am so impulsive with shopping that my motto has become you can never have too much, lol. We purchased the envelopes from bluepaperdot.com and there shipping is great. I recieved the envelopes in 5 days and they were about 12.95 per pack (each pack comes with 50) We ordered both Aqua Lagoon and Fuschia since those are our colors. We used water bottle labels to do the wrap around label which turned out great! I am so happy with them and now look forward to working on the formal invitations. If anyone is interested in my sister's work, please check out her website, www.mysparklingevent.com and her blog, The Sparkle Spot Thx for reading

Very pretty Erin!!!! I love them, are you using real touch flowers, silk flowers or live flowers from the resort? -

It includes the centerpiece for the ceremonial table. I think that's the only additional decor added to that. I am bringing my chair sashes with starfish attached to them and making some other diy stuff for the actual ceremony. Send me your email and I will send you some pics. Also I noticed that you are getting married 2 weeks after me, so if there is anything you want me to leave there for you I can. -

Hey Jenise: Ok I'll answer your questions in order, lol. 1) I will more than likely tip the WC if my experience is just as great as Jocy's. 2) Still thinking about the real touch bourquets and centerpieces. I am trying to consider the weight of my luggage and how much stuff realistically I should take over there. I really don't see myself wanting to bring that stuff back or paying for it and leaving it there. So I will probably go with the real bouquets and centerpieces they provide. 3) As of right now (bc my mind keeps changing) we are using the wedding gazebo and since we are going to go with the Ultimate package, the decorations are included in that price. 4) I think that is a really cute idea and he will appreciate it, esp since it's something that you guys have talked about before, he will really appreciate you remembering it and flying FC for your wedding will make you both feel like superstars! I say thumbs up -

Jenise, Welcome to the party, lol! We are a great big happy family on here and I'm sure you'll find all the information you need here Tara: Send me your borchure as well. You probably already have my email, but just in case it's [email protected]. Thanks!!! -
Just made it in from Target and they has lots of beach towels there! I only got enough for our wedding party though, we are just doing OOT bags for our wedding party as thank you gifts. Our target also had matching aluminum water bottles in the pink, blue, and silver so I bought 10 of those and I am going to try to get our monogram put on those. They were 2.50 a piece like the towels! Good luck ladies!

At home I get nothing done and just eat all day (which is not a good look for someone whose dress is already snug, haha). So not looking forward to this next trip to the grocery store -

Couldn't have said it better myself Jennifer. The cake is the least of my concerns, but if you are so hell bent of having a great cake, you can try to contact a local bakery or cake place in DR if you want to go that route. I wouldn't let that deter you from having your wedding somewhere beautiful Just my .02 cents! -

Lucky for me, our powerlines out here are underground so no power outages (crossing my fingers). -

I got your request on FB and I sent you one Erin! With all the reviews, I am not starting to think about having a beach wedding....UGH...I hate this, lol. But I hate that at the gazebo you can only have 2 chairs on each side of each aisle. It just looks tight to me now, and with the beach you have a say in how many seats you want on each side. I know that is a small detail, but it's just bothering me. The Arch was very pretty too with the ocean in the background. I am starting to have a brain overload with this wedding and really just need to relax (or have a drink, lol). Thanks to all the recent brides for all your reviews and being patient enough to answer all of our questions!!!
