  1. Jenn: I totally agree with Nat, as long as you 2 are there, that's all that matters. I had my BM drop out when I moved my wedding to 2010 just so 2009 would be dedicated to her wedding and she got preggy on her honeymoon so can no longer attend our wedding. Talk about being pissed! I mean if you obligate yourself to be in someone's wedding or say you are going be there, then you need to find a way to make it work in my opinion. So I totally feel your pain. However the SHOW will still go on, so kill them with kindness and put all your AWESOME pictures up on Facebook when you get back and let them sit in there misery when they see them! That's my plan!! haha

Check out these awesome shots from Melissa Green!!! Melissa Green Photography | Utah Wedding Photography, Boudoir and Modern Photojournalist I was lucky enough to have Melissa and Summer photograph our wedding and it was THE BEST decision I could have made. The only things I got to take away are my husband, my memories and my photos. That's a LOT to trust with anyone and we couldn't have chosen a better team to work with. I'll write more in my review!! I promise!! Nat, as you can see from the pics if you get a chance to look at them, we got married in the gazebo. I was SUPER happy with that choice. The beach is nice, but I like the scenery and greenery around the gazebo more. I didn't want the audience that a beach wedding brings. We still had some onlookers, but not nearly as many as if it was on the beach. I took lots of pictures of Bordeaux terrace because that's where we were going to have our "dessert hour" with the fire dancers. When Sharron checked with the schedule of the fire dancers, they said "no way" to Bordeaux because of the wooden pergola structure. It's definitely got to be my favorite view, but we had to do Himitsu due to the fire hazard. I have family photos if you'd like me to send you some. It's the perfect place for lanterns and you can put tons of them up if you'd like! Congrats Christina! Your pics are great, and I love that they can pull up that God awful red carpet! Sorry to all the brides that are using it, it's just my opinion Can you send me some pictures of the Bourdeax Terrace please. My email is [email protected]. Thanks and congrats again
  3. Christine: We all can't wait to read your review! It sounds like you have no regrets and that's always a plus!!!
  4. I 2nd Toya (lrdavis23). We are getting married there on 8.9.10 and are going with the gazebo since after seeing the beach setup, we noticed that guests in beach chairs were right there beside the ceremony and not very private at all. We are also going to do the free package and add on the additional things we want since we are taking most of the decorations down there ourselves and there was so much in the Ultimate Package that we won't use and they won't make any substitutions. I haven't heard good reviews about there photographer and heard they are rather expensive for what you pay for so we are flying our own photographer down with us. Check out the Dreams Punta Cana Forum and you will find a ton of information! Welcome and happy planning

  8. Lol, Jenise you are too funny, it was Baja Fresh and I swear I got about 2 bites of food, bc I had to keep greeting people and making sure everyone got some attention I was so hungry too LOL Erin: She would love to come to Cincinnati, if you want her information let me know, even if it just to communicate about cost efficient ways to throw something nice. She said she got the chair sashes for the shower for .60 cents a piece and I haven't seen any that low anywhere so I know she can find some good deals!
  9. Nat, I couldn't believe how it turned out. It was actually in the clubhouse in my development, but she took alot of the furniture out and rented tables and did her thing with the decorations. So trust me, you can change any room around to make it FANTABULOUS!! LOL.
  10. I finally got a little sneak peek of my bridal shower pics and can't wait to get all the pics from the photographer to post so you ladies can see. My MOH, BM's, and Mommy threw me the best shower a girl could ask for. The had a pink/black damask theme with a cocktail hour feel. Sparkling Events & Design turned it out! I felt like I was walking into someone's wedding reception! My sister is truly a genius and gifted at what she does and I am so blessed to say she is MY sister. I can't wait to see what she does with the wedding, bc I am close to not depending on them to do anything with my decor, lol. She captured my vision and made it better than I could ever imagine. I also had the honor of having Chiantia Crews do a photo shoot of the event and have been featured as part of her blog. Check out the sneak preview...more pics to come! 12. Erin, this is such a great review. I too, wonder how the children's area is since my daughter will be 10 and have two nieces coming as well. I have some other questions, but I'm going to send you an email for those! Thanks for writing this

  20. ldeavila: I'm not sure a sell has been made as of yet for them; I am still waiting to hear from Jenise, I'm open to that idea or either I will have my mother make ours.
