Hey ladies, I know I have been MIA for a minute, very busy weekend! We got our engagement shots done this weekend and are currently working on our website so I am crossing my fingers that we can pull it off. We are trying to do something totally different and build it ourselves from scratch and not use any of the templates out there. So if all goes well, hopefully I can post that soon for you guys to take a look and if not....weddingwindow.com is my favorite out there, so at least I have a back up plan I need to go ahead and reserve the terrace that we want to use as well. I didn't know we needed to do that so early, but I'm right on top of that now! Hope you ladies are having a happy monday!!! Misty

Wow ebredhawk!! Thanks for posting them, I couldn't get them to post at all. I really wish they would have provided better angles for each terrace but hey I guess we have to wait for someone to post their own for their reception. I really like Himitsu but there is no red at all in my color selection so that won't work for me. I'm hoping the Bordeaux will work out, but I think someone said the view from El Patio was the water so that might be nice too...

I have no idea what type of shoes I am wearing yet, but they will be FIERCE as Tyra would say. I am thinking about going for the short dress look so my shoes will have to stand out.

Yeah we would love to see pictures.

Alot of brides on here are talking about using the indoor terrace for the reception, I wonder if it is enough space for a dance floor and DJ or if can only accommodate the dinner tables.

So ladies after a long planning process, I am thinking about switching from Dreams Palm Beach to Dreams Punta Cana. I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys about what your experience has been working with the wedding coordinator there. I have recieved emails from "Sharron", but after reading this thread, alot of you guys mention Deyanira. Am I speaking with the wrong person? And if someone would so graciously send me the wedding package info, wedding menus, extras, and any pictures that you may have I would really appreciate it. I totally agree with itsfinallyhere. Your guests entire day will be spent waiting between your events which could appear unorganized and to me impressions matter. Second, you might want to come up with a timeline of events for yourself for that day, for example, Massage, Hair, Pre-ceremony pictures getting ready, etc... that would mean you have to get up really early, so you may want to think about that as well. You should be able to feel relaxed on your day and not rushed. Our wedding is scheduled for 5:30pm sunset because all of the forums I have checked out have said that it is really hot during the day and also can be hard to get good pictures if everyone is squinting from the sunlight being to bright. I also feel like I want the wedding to lead into a party so having a later reception around 7pm is ideal for us. BUT that's just me... Good luck with your decision!
