I heard it's beautiful and only heard the best reviews. So will you be having a dj and dancing over there instead? If so.. then go for the welcome beach party if it's in your budged. Well I am def not sure about cancellation policy as you only pay when you get there, and there is no contract. You'd best ask Carolina or your TA if your working with one. Yeah we both have big families and plenty of friends. And our friends know we know how to party...LOL SO we believe we are looking at at least that amount. Yup, eating and partying at Jellyfish until the wee hours of the morning. Mayte says my date is currently avail I'm just waiting for April so that I can confirm my date with Carolina for July 2011. I'm hoping it won't be a problem since we are purchasing the vow renewal package (doing the do the week before we leave and not telling anyone). We have a friend who will do our symbolic ceremony. From what I've read thus far the main problem with wedding dates and times are the judges' schedules.

  4. Could you tell me where you got your flip flop playing cards from please? Thanks, Natural

And then use this for your wedding day, or did you plan to also use the beach party as one of your events for the wedding? if no what did you plan to do after dinner? go to the disco? HHHHMMMMM I didn't think about it that way (in terms of just meeting at any bar) but your right. After the wedding, the reception is going to be at Jellyfish. Yeah the beach party is going to be one of our events, it would be a nice opportunity for all of our guests to meet each other and for us to hand out our Welcome Bags. Also, we may have about 50 people so the privacy of the beach party may be best. But thanks for the bar suggestion. If you book the beach party what is the cancellation policy?
  6. Thanks Caribbeanlover!!! I'm thinking about doing the beach party as a welcome party

  9. For the Beach Party reception, what's the per person cost and what's included? I'm thinking about doing that for a welcome party. Thanks!
  10. Hello Ladies and the few Gents that visit... I'm adding little touches of "bling" to everything, but I'm having a hard time finding inspiration of a "blingy gazebo"... Does this exist LOL Or does anyone have any suggestions Thanks! Natural
  11. Thanks I've been to there website, I just wanted some feedback from anybody who has been there already. What date in July are you looking at? I'm July 16, 2011
  12. Hello All!!!! For those who have and/or are going to use Jellyfish Restaurant I would like to know if there is a bar upstairs. I was thinking it would be nice to have the cocktail hour upstairs and eat dinner downstair. After cocktail hour, upstairs would be a loung area. Let me know how this sounds please! Thanks, Natural

I called one lady today, but she was really rude on the phone So I'm back to square one. I have an Aunt who lives in Toronto, I just sent her an email asking if she know a good seamstress who can alter a wedding dress. I'll keep you posted.

And I don't have....grrrrr hate using the phrase...bad hair, but the domincan ladies were all 'pelo malo' (as if I didn't know any spanish) and trying to get me to relax it. I lost 3 inches PLUS what had to be trimmed for splits that day cause the lady was just ripping the comb through my hair trying to detangle it. I'm leaning more and more towards a weave, thinking remy saga. Am visiting Philly (half bz half pleasure) and the stores here all have remi by outre. I wonder if it's the same quality? Anyone else used the remi by outre and have any comments or reviews? Before you texturize your hair try Taliah Waajid's Protective Mist Bodifier, its an all natural detangler that has worked WONDERS for me. Also, for all the natural ladies you may want to join Napputrality.com its a hair forum all about natural hair.
  16. Does the Palladium have a symbolic wedding package? Has anyone used it or is planning to use it? Right now I'm really beginning to think that it will be easier if FH and I go to the justice of the peace a week before we leave.
  17. What day of the week is the beach bbq? Can you arrange one for your group or is it a resort thing?
  18. Okay thanks, I'm gonna email her as well to open the lines of communication.
  19. Thanks for posting this. Do you know the additional charge per person over the initial 20?
  20. Thanks Ladies!!! Couples and/or Adults only is what we are looking for. We have a 2 year old and I don't want to be around ANY children for our honeymoon....LOL

  23. Hello Everyone, I was in Naples, FL for the holiday and went to the Bealls Clearance Outlet and found some really nice straw bags, the original price as $20 but with all the discounts they ended up being $3. So if there's a Bealls near you I suggest you check them out. I don't have a pic of the bags, I left them with my Mom since I won't need them until 2011. But they were 22in wide and 12in height. I will use them for couples with children since they will take a lot to fill. I guess I can call them family OOT bags...LOL
