We've actually changed our date due to too many woes and concerns from family about Hurricane Season. Instead of October 2010, it's now May 2010. AHHHH! Wow, this thread, while extremely informative is also overwhelming. I'm in the very beginning stages of planning our DW. So many of you have answered my anxiety ridden questions. So thanks! Two questions: 1. What is the deal w/the boudoir vs TTD photoshoot? They offer this at the RIU? Or is this something you're doing before/after the nuptials? 2. Are we crazy for wanting to marry in the heart of hurricane season? My reason behind this is because I want our post-nuptial party to be on Halloween weekend.

Greetings all! Finally, after dating all of those frogs (not to mention deadbeats), I found my knight in shining armor! It only took 36 years but well worth the wait. Todd proposed over Memorial Day weekend in Washington DC on 'our' carousel on the Smithsonian Mall. It was perfect. Our tentative wedding date is Friday, October 22, 2010. We are looking at getting married at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya. Then coming home and having a kickin' party the following weekend. Looking forward to getting advice...and maybe even giving advice.
