Thanks Guys!!!My Gown Turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!My wedding was Amazing.The Grand Lido was wonderful!We were treated like royalty.I am trying to post Pic up but is having no Luck.I will post on wedding website.My OOT Bags were a hit.Some people were happy that flip flops were in the bag.Ladies I thank everyone with all their advise.To the ladies that are still planning Good Luck!

I Live in Philly Pa. I just called downtown and they gave me the OK.Other Islands are not acknowledge in the U.SI do suggest to get a extra copy of license just in case something happen to the one you will receive from Jamaica.Give it to either one of your parent of someone that you can trust.Then you won't be running rapid

OK I was having a great day.Until I went to go pick up my gown.Ladies I put my gown on and it looked all twisted the and bottom of the gown wasn't even laying right.They didn't take in the top portion of my gown in.The hem on the gown wasn't taken all the way up.The kicker was that the tulle underneath was showing from underneath the gown itself.They didn't hem the whole gown just the front of the gown. The extra material in the back of the gown was just bunched up which made my gown looked bulged up in the front. I know I had a lot to the gown but they had since 6/12 and today is what 7/21.It was more than enough time to complete the job.I bought my Brand New Jazmine from a shop that got donation from bridal shops from all over the city.I paid $300 which was a Steal.It has beautiful detail through out the whole gown.The little lady told me she was gonna personally take care of my gown.I only have a couple of days and I am HEATED.I blew up in the wedding shop.I looked like one of those crazy chicks from Bridzilla. If my gown isn't fixed by next Wed. I'm Screwed with a messed up gown.They are gonna pay for gown and plus.Its gonna be hard to find someone else to alter a gown in a short moments time.(Or find another gown for that matter)It took me awhile to find a gown I hope I won't come to that.UGGGGGGGGGGG! MAD AS ALL HELLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alot of my guess went to applevactions.com They have deals like 5 Apple Square deal.Apple pick the resort that rates 5 apples.The only catch you don't know what hotel its gonna be.Me and my Fiancee' is staying at the Grand Lido and the other guests are staying at Club RIU which is 5 min away.They have to purchase guest passes from the Grand Lido.It was a little cheaper for my guest.2 couples are staying at the same resort.Try another travel agent also that can give you a group discount.Liberty Travel is also good.The prices of trips change so frequntly you have to keep checking like every Monday.I know its crazy trying to figure out guest accomadation.I hope this help a little bit. You know what they say.People get a little jealous of during the happiest time of your life.It a shame people rather spend all their time being hateful and mean.You will loss and gain a lot of friends before and after your wedding.Your true friend will be right by you and your fiancée' side.Need less to say that your other so called friend will just be left behind.Good Luck with your planning.Always remember that IT'S YOUR DAY.

Recession!!!! No one can afford a local wedding anymore.I agree with the other ladies.Everytime when there is a wedding everyone has something to say.Don't let any one try to play the "Intimidation Game "on either one of you.I been there.The DARKSIDE eventually came out and everyone knew THEN I was not so easily intimidated.

We dated for five years.We knew each other since we were in our teens.

I purchased sandlewood fans from Micheal's had a coupon from the Kid Stuff Book.For 18 I spent $11.50.Putting ribbons on the with our name and date.Going to get another for my gathering back home.

Congrats and Welcome.I'm in a similar situation.My Best Friend(Sister) is the only one that is coming to see me get married.My Aunt is unable to travel,My parents well thats another story.The rest of my family have other obligations to attend to.They people that are coming are yes complaining and suggesting thing that could of been done for us to have a regular wedding.We deiced on a DW because we can't see ourselves spending a lot of money on a regular wedding. Include your mother in all your DW arrangements.Maybe she will change her mind after seeing everything you have planned.If that don't work have a intimate dinner with her and your fiancé'.Then write her a letter and tell her NOT TO OPEN IT UNTIL THE DAY AND EXACT TIME OF YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY.This way she will be connected to you in some way. REMEMBER:This is suppose to be a joyous and memorable day for both of you.Us BRIDES can't make everyone happy.And besides we cant have you have any bumps or nasty hives on your wedding day.You pictures will not look pretty(LOL).Have fun enjoy and make the best of your day GOOD-LUCK Keep us Posted
