  1. It's usually clear color. Also I should mention if you want your make-up to last longer (not melt) it needs to be sealed with a translucent powder or blotting powder after your foundation.
  2. Congrats and Welcome to the Forum!!!
  3. I would bring a picture of the dress to your hairstylist next time you go for a cut (or just book a consultation) and just ask her/him what they think.
  4. Hey Girls! So I just found a great idea for those of us that are choosing high heels instead of going barefoot or flip flops on the 'Big Day'. These things have amazing reviews, check it out! The Solemates I don't think they'll work for sand thought
  5. Depends on where your photo location is, I would wear my most favorite outfit to fit the scene, and would definitely get my make-up professionally done, as it's different to the regular everyday make-up. Hope this helps
  6. Welcome and Happy Planning!
  7. I don't think it's too early at all. As a matter of fact our TA said people have to have all their final payments in 2 months prior to the wedding, otherwise they will not get our deal and will not be counted as part of our group.
  8. We're not personalizing anything that we want people to reuse. You can always tie in the theme with smaller things like mint tins, etc.
  9. Congrats and Welcome!!!

Here's an article I found. Hair do's and don'ts of salon etiquette: iVillage Beauty & Style I'm actually a hairstylist myself, and I do get paid a base salary. Every salon is different, with different rules and pay. The norm is 20% of the service.
  11. I use the Cover FX primer every time I put on make-up, basically everyday, lol. It's awesome and apparently (according to my dermatologist) it's truly one of the only lines out there that is good for your skin, and doesn't clog pores.
  12. Thanks so much for sharing this with us all!!! Can't wait to try it

I'm a hairstylist myself and I have done hundreds of brides with extensions of all kind. I have personally found the most easiest ones are the Jessica Simpson ones, but the same styles do come in 2 versions. The 100% real ones you won't find just hanging on the shelves (they're too expensive for business owners to have for sale), usually done by special order. The ones that are out on shelves are actually not real hair all the way, but they do come in curly, wavy, etc. Makes things easier because you don't need to curl/style them, just clip and then pin into the up do. Hope this helps and sorry for the long note.
  14. I agree with the other ladies, it has to be #3! Glad your choosing it. If you think it's a bit too fast, then why don't you guys get a professional dance instructor to help you.
  15. I agree with everyone else, it's your wedding! We had to seriously convince his family, and even put them on a guilt trip, lol. I've been to PV and it's such a stunning place.
  16. Welcome and Happy planning!!!
