  1. Congrats Sue and Happy Planning....again!!! You lucky girl
  2. Welcome and Congrats on the new home!!
  3. I love the Vegas idea!!! KittenHeart you get best of both worlds, a DW wedding and a cheesy Vegas one, I love it!!!
  4. I think as long as you like both equally, then go with something that matches the rest of the decor.
  5. Sorry I forgot to quote, my last message was for J&M Wedding.
  6. We got a quote and locked down the price of the resort for all our guests. Then when we send out our STD's we put all the info on it. That way the people know we got them a good deal and put work into it, to save them the hassle. The majority of our guests will be staying at our resort now.
  7. Welcome!! Do you know where yet? It's all such a beautiful area.
  8. That's so funny, I guess we think alike, lol. I'm a horrible liar as well, actually considering not even have the parents be our witness, but get some people off the street (a bit crazy, I know). So your planning to do it before then?
  9. Hey ladies, so I need your opinions please! We want to do the legal ceremony at home, but are keeping it on a hush hush. We don't want our guests feel ripped off that they're flying in to see us get married, and it's not even real. We will be counting the day of the Spiritual Ceremony as our anniversary date. So do we get married first legally and get it over with or do it when we come back?? I just want to make the walk down the isle to feel as real as possible. Thanks
  10. Go with the church you love! I personally wouldn't mind, especially if your covering the transportation. Maybe add some music, play games, etc, on the bus.
  11. We're going to City Hall just with our parents as witnesses. We figured we didn't want people to feel ripped off after they're flying in to see us getting married, but later find out it was unofficial. So we're keeping it on a totally hush hush.
  12. I chose May. My reasoning... Feb you have the begging of the spring breakers, Oct is still a lot of chance of rain, and July/Aug is going to be way too hot, but definitely the most economical time.
  13. We had very similar criteria also, and chose Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda in Playa del Carmen. There's many great resorts in that area, but you will also have to make a decision based if your having any kids with your quests, as some of the nicer resorts (better food and booz) don't cater to children. Also you may want to look into any of the Karisma Resorts, they're gorgeous! We ended up making our final decision by researching on Trip Advisor, reading all the reviews. Hope this helps and good luck!
  14. Your are so smart! Cheaper dress and spend all $$ on shoes!! I so should have done that, at least you'll have way more wear out of the shoes. Anyways, my vote is #2. The scream romance to me and after all it's a wedding.
  15. Welcome!! I've always wanted to check out Hawaii
  16. My vote is D, but it really depends on their bodies and which one looks best on all of them.
  17. Thanks for posting this! It's so easy to forget the little stuff, or the big.
  18. I agree with the other girls, the dress looks fantastic. Congratulations on the weight loss! I ordered my dress a size smaller and now it doesn't fit, instead I gained more weight!!! I thought I had more time, and now I have 3 months to loose 20 lbs, lol.
  19. Congrats and Happy Planning! What a beautiful destination
