We're doing OOT bags filled with first aid stuff, mints, stainless steel travel mug, lottery tickets, mints and puzzle books. We're not putting our logo on anything except the little Welcome and Thank You tags. For the favors we're giving silver starfish wine bottle stopper. Another idea, is you could just do donations for a local charity, and let people know you did that instead of favors.

Thanks everyone for your input! I'm glad to hear also that it didn't ruin the DW ceremony by doing the legal stuff first. We're going to do what the poll suggests...legal stuff 1st before we leave!!!! I'm so excited to be married to him anyways, that I'm glad we're doing it first. Maybe I also won't be such a cry-baby in front of everyone at the DW ceremony, LOL.

Judging by the picture, I think it'll look great without a train. I wanted to cut my whole train off as well, but they showed me why it'll kill the whole look of my dress, due to the detail on the back. So I would definitely check with an experienced seamstress to make sure it will still work with yours.

Hey ladies! I'm having a really hard time finding a bridal hand fan. We won't be doing any flowers for our wedding, instead hand fans. Our guests will have pretty generic ones for the ceremony, the BM's will have fancier fans in silver and gold color, but I can't find a fan for myself! I've found 2 websites, but they're both in Australia and are going for over $300! I've searched this whole forum and nothing, please help if you see a fancy one anywhere for me. Thanks so much.

Dress is gorgeous! I think you will have more wear out of it if you shorten and dye it on another color.
