Hi. We just decided on an Iberostar wedding in the Mayan Riviera. It's possible we will have around 100 guests, including a few kids, therefore the Grand is out. Given there are a number of other Iberostar hotels in the resort to choose from in that area, we need help selecting which one. Any suggestions or advice about what you get for what price between the different hotels? Thanks, Emily

Hi Brides-to-be. Newbie here. While I'm a newbie to this site, the wedding planning has been in the works for a few months now. Sadly, not a whole lot of progress. What we do know is that we want a destination wedding rather than one back home in DC (this decision took a good amount of time on its own). Anyway, here's the scoop. We're planning to tie the knot the last weekend in April 2010 or first weekend in May, depending on availability. One of the challenges is that we should have a pretty good turnout in terms of guests - around 100 -(this was not the intent when we decided on a destination wedding). We intend for it to take place in Maya Riviera and right now, we are just trying to lock in the hotel. So it begins... Emmers (Emily)
