  1. I cannot imagine how you found the time! But it was all worth it - great work!
  2. This is amazing! Thanks for posting - now it just comes down to deciding what to put in it.
  3. My fiancee and I are are exploring honeymoon options. We have heard amazing things about each of these countries and so we were hoping to do it all over a two-week period. We know the flight over there will cost a pretty penny, but all we've heard is that it's pretty cheap once you're there. We know we want to do Bangkok, Angor Wat, the Golden Triangle/Jungle area, and some beaches, but aren't sure of exact locations, good hotels, or other ideas? Does anyone have any first or second hand travel experience to any of these countries? We'd love your recommendations!
  4. Thanks for the heads up. I feel like I have a ton to order from VP, and these sort of deals are perfect for big orders!
  5. Just saw that last week. Love it! But it makes me feel like such a slacker with our boarding pass STDs
  6. Three Cups of Tea is my vote. A beautiful, uplifting true story that makes you want to go out and save the world.

  8. Great post. You should be a spokesperson for the DVDs
  9. You've all inspired me to go again! I have been going to vinyasa, astanga, and hatha classes for quite awhile and I've only tried bikram a few times. The only negative thing I ever hear about is from some yogis because they preach how yoga is supposed to be a mental art and you are not supposed to be in competition with yourself or anyone else in the room; also, it's supposed to be a practice that everyone can share and enjoy. However, bikram not only can push you beyond your limits, but it's actually named after a guy Not exactly the "ommm shanti" feeling that some studios give off. Nonetheless, it is a helluva workout!
  10. Thanks a lot for posting. We've been in OOT mode lately and trying to brainstorm all that we want to include. This list was very helpful, especially since you provided prices - definitely a good thing to know!

    NY Wedding

Congrats and welcome! My fiance is from NY as well (while I'm from Indiana), which is why we decided to make it a destination wedding for everyone. Happy planning!
  12. Congrats!! Welcome aboard. My sister honeymooned in PC and loved every minute of it. I'm sure you'll have a wondeful time! Happy planning to you
  13. Yeah, I'd be bummed as well. Especially since she is clearly a very important person to you if you are having her in your wedding. When my sister was getting married, one of her BMs bailed on the party as well - she was notorious for flaking about other plans they had throughout their friendship, but this one was particularly upsetting since it was right before her wedding. She talked to her about it, and I can't remember what had happened, but there was a pretty big event that held her up from coming. There could be a good explanation if you're willing to talk to her about it? Either way, a phone call would've been nice as you waited.... Good luck and don't worry about it too much - you have a HUGE day coming up! Congrats!
  14. Hi April 2010 brides! After posting on the Iberostar 2010 site for a little while, I finally stumbled upon this thread. Only a couple more months to go!! Looking forward to making my way through this thread.
  15. Tough call, but if I've learned anything about this whole process...it's your day so do whatever you want. I guess the one thing to consider is that if a lot of people are coming all that way to spend your day with you, they may want to celebrate with you as well
  16. Hi! I'll send you a PM re: the shoes. What a steal!
  17. I don't know anything about him, but I have heard him referenced on the Iberostar 2010 thread. I think I read somewhere that a bride hired him and he "made the reception." That said, I guess there could be more than one dj that refers to himself as "DJ Bob," right?
  18. Very cute ideas. I'm planning on embracing the Mexican theme as well. Along the lines of the maraca theme, I was thinking of having them shake it at the kiss or as we walked down the aisle...in place of rice, bubbles, etc. My mom had also suggested using tortilla holders (you know those little round containers for tortillas) for the OOT bags in place of a bag. Then just throw all the OOT items in that and wrap it up. Not sure yet.
  19. Thanks all for the info! I guess I should start looking into this as well...
  20. Ooooh! Thanks, all! This will be very helpful with the OOT bags!
