  1. We have a direct flight from Dallas to Cancun on American Airlines. I definitely do NOT think you should consider checking the dress at all. That's the last thing you want to be worrying about! I would really play up the "I'm getting married" topic with fellow passengers and I would truly think people will be willing to give up overhead space. My suggestion, wear a BRIDE tank top for your travel day!
  2. Wow! What a great design and I love that the diamonds are set like a flower!
  3. Hey canadiangirl! The week of our wedding was the first massage my fiance ever had, and he LOVED it! We did a couples massage at the spa where we were married (Excellence Riviera Cancun). If he isn't the type that would find a lot of use in some of the more traditional watch/cufflink ideas, it could be something he ends up loving (and it could be a surprise for when you get there. As happy and excited as we were to spend a week with friends and family, it was a really great thing to do the couples massage for some "us time" after worrying about everyone and everything for a year during the planning! Just a thought
  4. Happy Belated Bday Mwise17! Hope you're feeling better today!
  5. I design destination wedding jewelry and can customize by color/style/personality! Feel free to check out my Wiki Page here on bestdestinationweddings.com (http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/destination-wedding-jewelry-barefoot-beach-jewelry-more) as well as my site www.redibychelsea.com. Each piece I design is unique and has been inspired by a destination I've personally visited! I also design barefoot jewelry for you and your bridesmaid's walk down the aisle! Our motto is, "Have Jewelry, Will Travel!"
  6. Personalized (by color/style) jewelry that can be worn for that day and any days/nights afterwards! I designed all of these for my ladies and have more if you need any photos/suggestions!
  7. Hi Shanon! First of all your dress is GORGEOUS! The shoes are beautiful as well. The soft and romantic feel of the dress (in my opinion) definitely lends itself to a softer color shoe like the pink (which will still pop with color!) I actually brought 3 pair of shoes to my wedding in Riviera Maya last June, ended up wearing 1 of them for the reception and for the beach ceremony we all wore barefoot beach jewelry! I used my pair as my "Something Blue" Here are some pics!
  8. Hello JayKay! In case you need any other suggestions for bridesmaid or bridal jewelry, I design destination wedding jewelry as well! Here is the link to my Wiki page on bestdestinationwedding.com http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/wiki/destination-wedding-jewelry-barefoot-beach-jewelry-more as well as my site: http://www.redibychelsea.com. I also specialize in barefoot jewelry as well! Hope your planning is going well!
  9. Hi Shareen! Congratulations on your wedding planning! We got married last year in Riviera Maya at Excellence Riviera Cancun and LOVED it! There definitely was not a shortage of Irish & British accents (we've been 3 times now). We basically had them as surrogate guests during our wedding week! It's an amazing resort if you need any pics/info Best of luck!
  10. Hi dimax21! When we were married in Riviera Maya last year, the airline allowed my fiance and I to store his suit and my dress in the front closet. I remember there was another bride on the plane as well and they allowed both of us to use the front closet. I would definitely contact the airline directly and ask how they can accommodate you. People tend to be very excited for a bride headed to her wedding, so there's always the possibility that people will help you out and maybe give up some overhead space for you to lay it flat. Do you know if your resort has a steamer? Good luck and safe travels!
  11. Hi futuremrstgun! Believe it or not, it was http://www.cufflinks.com/! I was really nervous b/c I wasn't sure how they would necessarily turn out, but I loved them! They came in a really nice manly box too Hope that helps!!!
  12. Hi Alyssa! I ordered a custom pair of cufflinks for my (now husband) to wear at the wedding. One cufflink showed the coordinates of where we got engaged (at the Louvre in Paris) and the other one showed the coordinates of the Hotel where we were married (Excellence Riviera Cancun). A picture of them is below. He loved them! Good luck!
  13. Congratulations SChica927! My husband and I were married in the Riviera Maya last June. It's such a gorgeous area! I can only imagine how incredibly beautiful your wedding will be with it being a traditional Indian wedding. After my travels to India, it inspired me in jewelry design with the incredible colors and craftsmanship. Good luck with the planning!
