  1. Hi MrsAlmaguer2011, I used DJ Mannia and he was really great. I'm not sure about fees since it really varies by resort, but it ended up being worth the extra money to have him there (in my opinion). Congrats on your wedding and a fabulous date!!!
  2. Hey junebride12, I'm not exactly sure how many people the pier can hold but we had about 36 of us and it was great. People could still mingle and it was beautiful to be right on the water. I would ask the WC what their max capacity is. Good luck!
  3. Hi mandijacole! You'll be totally fine to have your reception in the foyer in November. We went 2 years in a row for my birthday in November and the temperature is beauuutiful. I even found it a bit cool on certain nights (not cold, just enough to bring a pashmina with you). November in the Riviera Maya is amazing. It's warm enough to go to the beach and enjoy the pool but not unbearable. I say, go for it! Here are a few pics of my reception on the balcony (and a few others thrown in too Ok, it's definitely "pic heavy!!" Thanks! Chelsea www.redibychelsea.com www.facebook.com/RedIbyChelsea www.twitter.com/Redibychelsea one of the walkways that surrounds the resort: View from our balcony: Barefoot jewelry all laid out! Ceremony set up. 5pm! Headed to the beach ceremony with all of my bridesmaids singing "Going to the Chapel"...I'll never forget that! We did it! Cocktail hour on the pier! Del Sol took us to the pier right next to it for some fabulous pics as our guests ate/drank on the other pier. We did still have enough time for pics on the beach with the wedding party AND to enjoy some drinks with our guests on the other pier! The popular drink was the Midori - refreshing and amazing! This was the extra private bar they set up for our guests (only). There were waiters on the pier for us as well, but people walked right to this bar from the ceremony and then headed to the pier. Pics with the bridesmaids! Reception in the foyer! Entering our reception after our wedding party: There wasn't a moment all of us weren't dancing!
  4. Hey Everyone! Another idea for unique bridesmaid's gifts from personal experience as a destination wedding bride as well as a designer are custom jewels. Barefoot jewels, earrings, necklaces, bracelets...there are so many options.
  5. Hi Michey! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I LOVE Cabo so I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time! I just noticed the picture of your GORGEOUS dress and wanted to share my site with you. I actually just uploaded pictures of a new bracelet that reminds me so much of your dress here http://ow.ly/5BhdC called the "Rose Halo" Paris-Inspired Bracelet. The flowers are so similar in style and color as the one on your gown! In response to your question...DJ or iPod, we found a DJ worked the best for us for our wedding last year in Riviera Maya. I toggled back and forth with the idea but in the end didn't want to worry about issues going on with our own technology and felt better about leaving that in the hands of professionals...one less thing to take on! Please let me know if you have any questions or need any jewels/hair accessories for your big day or your trip in general! November will be here before you know it! Congrats Chelsea www.redibychelsea.com "Have Jewelry, Will Travel
  6. Congratulations candissj2000! Cuba should be fabulous! Cheers! Chelsea www.redibychelsea.com "Have Jewelry, Will Travel"
  7. Hey Ladies! The brides I'm working with have loved the idea of custom barefoot jewels, earrings & bracelets...just a thought! Everything can be customized by color and style and lots of love is incorporated into each piece I know this as a designer AND as a former destination wedding bride last year. My girls were brought to tears with their jewels! Cheers!
  8. Good point, Mwise17 about the DJ. That's great that Doremixx comes with party favors!
  9. Oh wow, I didn't know what the fee was (as it varies by hotel). I'm sure del Sol could recommend another photographer for you if you ask...just a thought You will find everything you need, we always do (although there's plenty of stress in between!).
  10. aw thank you so much! Can't wait to design your custom jewels together! They're going to be fabulous and so are you!! xoxo
  11. Let me know if anyone needs any Exotic Hair Couture! These include hair combs, clips & accessories - all handmade! I can customize anything based on style/color.
  12. Oh thank you so much! We did pay the day pass fees but they were definitely worth every penny!
