  1. Thanks so much Coco YUL! They definitely do and they sparkled all the way down the aisle in my destination wedding so I know they work their magic! They're also great for TTD sessions (and honeymoons...and vacations for the rest of your life!). A lot of the brides I've been working with have them custom made with other jewels as gifts for their bridesmaids Mine cried when they received theirs!
  2. Hi! I did make this myself and it was a lifesaver I'll send it to you now!
  3. No problem! It has turned into something I now use on vacation because it helped organize me soooo much better for my wedding trip and honeymoon than any vacation. What I usually tell brides is, "While my husband searches for something to wear while we're on vacation, I'm already dressed and sipping sangria because I've got it all figured out ahead of time!!"
  4. I'm happy to send an updated {Red-i} By Chelsea Fashion & Jewelry Extravaganza Spreadsheet to anyone who sends me their email address. I can share it through gmail (even if you don't have gmail you'll receive it). This is a GREAT planning device when you're planning outfits/jewelry for your trip!
  5. I have to say 2 things. First, the shoes are very cute and 2nd - I LOVE those placemats! Where are they from?!
  6. This palette reminds me of barefoot jewels I just made for a bride and her bridesmaids! The colors were purple, lavender & lime!!
  7. Hey Everyone! I'm looking for second honeymoon/anniversary/birthday celebration options in Playa del Carmen! We were married at Excellence Riviera Cancun last year but are looking for something a little different this time. We'd like to split the trip since we're also doing a Trash the Dress session with our wedding photographers, del Sol! This will be a huge celebration for us (as well as R&R). For the first part of the trip we'd like to be in the mix of PDC and be able to walk around to restaurants/bars, but still have the comfort/luxury of a great hotel. It doesn't need to be an all inclusive, but I still want it to feel high end (since it's a few celebrations in one!). Since we haven't done any kinds of tours (natural surroundings/cenotes, etc) we want to be close enough to do that as well. Any suggestions on tours in the area, i.e. Tulum? I've been looking on Trip Advisor and El Taj Condo Hotel seems like is a great option. It's listed as #1 out of 183 hotels in PDC. They're much larger rooms and everything looks really sleek (but I like the fact that we can still go out and stock the fridge if we want!) We're also interested in having a better beach experience because the beach at Excellence wasn't that great (tons of seaweed and so many shells that it made our group never want to go in the ocean). We're definitely beach people and the pictures I've seen look beautiful. I'd love to hear any feedback from anyone who has been looking in the same area for their own honeymoon. For the second part of our trip we're looking for more of a boutique hotel - away from it all. Again, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance!
  8. Hey September Brides! Don't forget about the jewels & hair accessories for your wedding/wedding trip & honeymoon! Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you! Anything can be customized by color and style! My motto is, "Have Jewelry, Will Travel" I've attached my links and a few photos below! I tend to update Facebook more often than my site, FYI. www.redibychelsea.com www.facebook.com/RedIbychelsea www.twitter.com/Redibychelsea Bridal & Bridesmaid Barefoot Jewelry - the "Violet Mermaid" collection!
  9. Welcome and get ready for some faaabulous information! It's easy to get overwhelmed but always feel free to ask questions
  10. Hi kelnces! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! It'll be here before you know it! If you're getting married in the Riviera Maya, I've been there 2 years in a row during November and it's fabulous! It's not very humid at all (I was married there in June...it was HUMID then!). I have naturally curly hair as well so I understand it can be a big concern with the humidity. You should be fine In regards to footwear, I design travel-inspired destination wedding barefoot jewelry that I actually wore for my own destination wedding last year. I designed them for all of my bridesmaids as well and people really love them! I can customize collections based on color/style, etc. I've attached a few pics and please let me know if you have any questions
  11. Le Reve is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your images and your review. It's very helpful! It's always great to see the different photos and perspectives on these properties
  12. Hello amjohnson! It is absolutely not a silly question! I would ask that you please email me at [email protected] and I can send you a custom jewelry form which will help me determine the pricing. There are some specific questions that I ask on there since they're custom jewels. I can also give you a better idea once I have your zipcode about the pricing. I just sent a box full of custom bridal & bridesmaid jewelry to Canada the other day but it does vary by zip code. Again, if you can email me I'd be happy to send you the form. Your idea to wear sandals down the aisle isn't silly! It's your special day and you need to make sure it's exactly how you want it to be. If you're comfortable wearing shoes with a heel and that works for you, then that's what you should do. There's not one thing that you "have to do" as a destination wedding bride and that's the beauty of it I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Chelsea
  13. Hi hdinsmor! I saw your post on here and wanted to let you know that if you're interested in bridesmaids barefoot jewelry (barefoot sandals), earrings, necklaces or bracelets, I'd be happy to customize anything for you based on colors/styles! I also have started to design hair accessories (called Exotic Hair Couture on my site) if you're interested. I've attached my links a few photos for your convenience
