Hey Everyone! This isn't really an idea that includes props, etc. (although some brought them along from the scavenger hunt we had , but I created a private Facebook page for everyone coming to our wedding and requested their favorite song of all time to dance to. I didn't tell them what it was for and it was months in advance. At the reception, we gave a list of songs to the DJ which included all of the ones that people had said were their favorite songs! When people heard their favorites, their faces LIT up! Such great memories!

It looks like catching it on a re-run (usually they replay them throughout the week/weekends or buying it for $2 on iTunes might be the way to go!

Yes! If you have a cable provider that has On Demand episodes, I'm sure it would be on there. Otherwise maybe even on YouTube? Of course there's drama that goes on in the episode and mix that in with a gorgeous background = amazing If I can find the episode online I'll shoot the link over!

To be honest, I think we had 36 so you should be fine! I would just email the wedding coordinator and ask, but I think you should be good to go if you choose a long table. I'm not sure about the U-shaped table since that wasn't our set up.

I'm not sure if anyone watches the Real Housewives franchise of shows, but the New Jersey cast just had an episode at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana and it's GORGEOUS!!

Hey brendee2005, Did you by any chance create a private Facebook group for your guests? I created one for my wedding and it really did help engage people otherwise didn't have RSVP'ing high on the priority list. I tried to make it engaging by doing things like asking what people's favorite songs were (and then incorporating them in my master list which I gave to the DJ). It made it even more fun when people heard their exact favorite songs being played at the reception. Good luck! Chelsea

Hello clairebear! Congratulations on booking your wedding! I was married there last year. They do have the ceremony in English and yes, there is an exchange of rings. My husband and I said our own vows. Another idea to avoid blood tests is, you may want to consider having the legal ceremony in the UK and a symbolic ceremony at ERC (this is what we did). That way, there aren't blood tests that are required and you don't have to worry about having to pay cash for them once you get to Mexico. I'm not exactly sure what the cost is but I believe it's a few hundred $USD. Congratulations! It's a beautiful resort and you and your fiance I'm sure will have an amazing time! Hey kya! P90x is amazing! My husband and I did it to get ready for our wedding as well and after almost a year of doing zumba/pilates, etc. that really helped lose the last few and tone up. Good luck!

You could always do the passports as the STD's and then have the boarding passes as the actual invitations. I had FedEx Office perforate the ends of the boarding passes so guests could just fill those out and mail just that part back in as their RSVP. Just an idea
