  1. Congratulations Walkersbride! The Riviera Maya is amazing - great choice Best of luck with your planning!
  2. Wow, congrats on your RSVP and the fact that she will be traveling that distance just shows how amazing you and your fiance are! Amazing, what a great start!!
  3. Congrats Jane! I'm not sure if you saw the offer that Sandals is running, or if you'll be honeymooning at the one in Castries, but it might be something to take advantage of that I wrote about the other day here. Best Wishes!
  4. I agree Janet! The photos are SO important! We still stare at our Del Sol photos hanging on large canvases throughout our house
  5. Thanks very much! That was a shot of the "Monte Carlo Romance" custom tiara & bracelet! XOXO
  6. Hi Steph2011! I think that even if the MOH is in a different color than the rest of your bridesmaids, you can still have them look cohesive. You could have your MOH wear coral jewelry while the bridesmaids wear turquoise jewelry. There are many different ways to play with the color palette. Another bride that I'm working with is having 2 bridesmaids in fuchsia and 2 in tangerine, but is incorporating different custom hair accessories to tie everything together! Don't be afraid to be unique and express your vision as you want
  7. If anyone needs my spreadsheet from packing for my destination wedding and honeymoon last year, feel free to email me at [email protected]! Best of luck, ladies!
  8. Another way to spice of the look for your TTD is switching out the jewelry and hair accessories (this is what I'll be doing). Either if you're wearing the dress you wore for your ceremony or if you went with a less expensive alternative, it can be elevated and transformed by the wwhttp://www.redibychelsea.com! A few I've designed for recent TTD brides!
  9. My husband and I had our legal ceremony about 2 weeks before our "symbolic wedding" and trust me, from the tears, the dress, having friends and family all collected in such a special place, NOTHING takes away from that big day We celebrate our wedding date as our destination wedding 6.19.10
  10. Your projects came out like a pro!! WOW! I absolutely love everything and the special touches like the card stock and plays on your future last name are perfect! These Oh Sh*t Naughty Nite kits are going to be one of the best things ever for your guests. Our guests were so happy to have extra aspirin, etc. for the nights were there were 1 or 5 too many margaritas You did a really great job and tying it in with the colors of your monogram to boot...fabulous Another idea for the use of your future last name would be t-shirts. We had some printed from Vistaprint for our bridal party with the play on my future last name as well. Since it was going to be "Bond", we did a James Bond-themed scavenger hunt around the resort and my girls were the "Beach Angels" so I'm right there with you on making the last name FUN! Wonderful job and I can't wait to see what else you come up with! XOXO
  11. In case anyone needs more hair flower inspiration, here are a few more!
  12. Hey Ladies, If anyone has a Mac, or even a PC, you could create your own custom inspiration boards simply by capturing screenshots and pasting them either a Powerpoint program or Word Doc. I know something so basic wouldn't have pre-loaded options, but as you peruse different sites you could always use this as one central place to keep your ideas
  13. Congrats JordannaMarie! There's a ton of helpful information on this site so best of luck! Any questions, feel free to ask!
  14. Hey Everyone, I just designed a pair of barefoot jewelry with silver starfish charms for a bride. Pics are attached and please let me know if you have any questions Thanks! Chelsea
  15. stunning! It doesn't hurt that the couple looks straight out of a Versace ad!
  16. Hi! Typically I design everything and all of the components myself, but this request came from a bride's mother who wanted to surprise her daughter. The flower by itself was purchased at David's Bridal, but the bride's mother wanted to surprise her daughter at her bridal shower with a design from me (but they had already purchased this). She was already purchasing her wedding jewelry from me and I customized a collection for her. I incorporated shells & Swarovski crystals, tulle, additional organza petals and the feather to make it cohesive with her collection (she still doesn't know about it yet!).
  17. Congratulations, mrspfafftobe! If you have any questions or would like any pictures of certain areas, just let me know! I'm going down for my TTD this Nov Here are a couple photos I received from Del Sol of Le Reve! It looks so amazing and I can't wait to spend my bday/belated anniversary there! You're going to have a gorgeous setting for your wedding. ~Chelsea www.redibychelsea.com
  18. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding lavieenrose! I actually purchased my wedding dress for my wedding last year from Nordstrom and purchased another one for my upcoming TTD session. You're right, they definitely have a great return policy as well and their alterations are really reasonable!
