  1. Congratulations paulastuart! Cabo is absolutely amazing. I've been several times although I had my wedding in the Riviera Maya (prior to making our first trip to Cabo). There are a bunch of options when it comes to hotels that are right on the only swimmable (it's amazing) beach, Medano Beach. Hotels range from swanky like ME by Melia to more timeshare/condo hotels all the way down the beach (Pueblo Bonito Sunset, Rose, etc). If you have any specific questions, feel free to let me know. I understand you're planning on bringing everything in yourselves and there was a recommendation about the Pedregal area. Pedregal is absolutely gorgeous with multi-million dollar star-studded homes built into the rocks as well as hotels and villas. Getting a travel agent who specializes in destination weddings (especially since I assume you'll have an international crew booking) might be a very helpful start to help you get pricing aligned. I know it's overwhelming at first but a TA can help provide options, photos, etc. without you having to contact a million different hotels and rental companies. Cabo is so gorgeous and I know you'll love it! I'll leave you with a few pics from my last trip in May! Medano Beach panorama Marina area (beauuutiful) Bar on the beach...with swings! Across from Medano Beach is Lover's Beach. This place is incredible. It's a boatride away (be ready to literally JUMP out of the little fishing boat to get to shore) but it's where part of Planet of the Apes was filmed (on the opposite side called Divorce Beach). This is such a magical little place...a nice little romantic (inexpensive $10 boat ride to get there) when you want to escape the party scene on Medano Beach for an hour or two! Lover's Beach
  2. YAY Julie!!! I'm SO excited for you!! Del Sol is such a great decision and I'm sure your pics will be faaaaabulous!! I'd love to design more jewelry for you so keep me posted on everything! I actually really like that dress and with some simple alterations, I'm sure it would completely work. With it being $150, if you find something else you love...you have plenty of time to pick it up and even sell this one (if that's what you choose). Either way, that was a great find! Congrats on the TTD booking!!
  3. I agree! We had Del Sol for our wedding so I completely understand the magic of SOL!! You did an awesome job because it was still flawless even with the elements! Did you just use waterproof products? Again, your pics = unbelievable!
  4. Do it, do it!! I'm heading down to Playa del Carmen to do mine this November with Del Sol. They photographed our wedding and are complete artists! I wrote a blog post here on the "To Trash or Not to Trash" question in case you're looking for something else to sway you!
  5. The last one would be very beautiful on the beach with the length and the fabric!
  6. Aw Coco I can imagine how excited you are!!! Good for you and it's funny how those things happen when they're meant to be!
  7. Summer12 you are a vision!!! That dress was MADE for you! Absolutely stunning and the belt cinches your obviously already tiny waist, amazingly!! S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G! GO LULU'S!
  8. Sooooo gorgeous Meggers! I'm headed down to my TTD with Del Sol next month and I can't wait! Did you have any make up on for yours?
  9. amjohnson I'm so sorry for my delayed response. I've been so busy lately and completely forgot about your request to see a photo of the postcard collage from my reception. Please see the photos below! and in the center of it all...
  10. That's great! Definitely keep me posted Eric graduated from Pitt in '99 if I'm remembering correctly off the top of my head. That's amazing about your future engineer son!!
  11. If you're looking for more back necklace idea, I've designed this one here!
  12. Now it's getting scary Coco... First of all, GREAT idea!! Second of all, we're a Pitt household all the way since my husband went to Pitt and I "technically" did through Semester at Sea when Pitt had the program! Tooooo funny. On top of it, we're now living in Dallas so...when are you moving here? XOXO
  13. Summer, Have you made an appointment at Stardust Bridal (Plano?) It's where they filmed at least the first season of "Girl Meets Gown". Their sister shop is in downtown Dallas and it's called Lulu's. It's very tiny but has lower price points and tons of gowns. I'm not sure exactly what kind of gowns you're looking for, but if you need any other suggestions in the area just let me know!
  14. Awww Keeping baby Bianca in my thoughts and prayers. I know our doggies are our children too. Hoping for the best and sending love! xoxo
  15. Yay! I'm so happy your package is safe and sound with it's rightful owner! Thank you so much for your amazing words and I'm so happy that we were able to collaborate to design the perfect jewels for you and your bridesmaids! I can't wait to hear about their reactions AND see your incredible photos!! Thank YOU for choosing me and whenever you need anything else in the future...you know where to find me! Congratulations again and I'm so excited for you. Thank you for being such a wonderful muse! XOXO
  16. OMG Janet!!! You are GORGEOUS! Your fiance is going to have a heart attack! AMAZING, gorgeous, stunning, all of the above. You're the epitome of a Moroccan Mermaid! XOXO
  17. Hey coconoir! I'm sure you've already done this but just in case you haven't, I typically set TripAdvisor Flight alerts. Obviously being in PHL, U.S. Airways will probably have the lowest flight for you (or JetBlue?) but TripAdvisor will aggregate all airlines for you just in case and then you can set multiple airports for pricing too Good luck my dear!
  18. WHOAAAAA GORGEOUS!! Wow Janet, those are stunning!
  19. I bet a TTD at Lover's Beach was AMAZING! I love it there. It's such a remote and romantic beach! I admire you for being able to get out of a boat in your dress to get on land!
  20. This is AMAZING summer12! Awesome detail and so very unique Great job!
