  1. I am using DJ DOremixx. I found his prices to be very reasonable. If you do a search on here, there are lots of reviews.
  2. Any suggestions how to transport the real touch flower centerpieces? I bought some flower centerpieces from another BDW bride (they are great) and to ship them, she had them wrapped in bubble wrap around the vase and the bubble wrap laid over the flowers. Still, two of the vases broke. I am getting married in the Riviera Maya and was wondering how to transport them. I heard that people sometimes have customs problems shipping to mexico and therefore plan to take them in my suitcase(s) (they amke take up two). Any thoughts? Thanks so much
  3. I will buy the white callalily bouquet and any of the hangover kits you have. Also, if the flower petals or waterguns don't sell, I am interested in buying those as well
  4. Thank you all so much for all of your responses--- I really appreciate them. I think I am goign to still fly him down, but not pay for a guest. He knows about ten of the guests, so it shouldn't be an issue in that way.
  5. I am flying my Rabbi down to Mexico to marry me and my FI. I am paying for all of his expenses (flight, hotel, etc). Do I invite him with a guest? I am not sure what the proper etiquette is. THanks!
  6. Also- Are any of you trying to organize any excursions for your guests while there? If so, what companies are you using. I am thinking about doing a sunset sail or snorkel. Thanks
  7. question for other Ceiba brides-- I tried several times to email Nayeli today and it bounced back. Has anyone else encountered this problem? THanks, Ari

  13. Hi, I emailed a long time ago (I think the WC is Claudia) and have not heard back from them. I am starting to get nervous. I looked on the website but the only phone number listed is the 800 number. DOes anyone know if there is a direct number in Mexico I can try and if so, what that number is? Thanks.
  14. Have any of you looked at Grand Velas Riviera Maya to get married or been married there? Anything you could tell me would be great. It looks amazing. Thanks

    newbie!

Thanks-- so far I have found so much information my head is spinning (in a good way)
  17. I looked at a bunch of islands (want to get married at a resort and have guests stay there for a few days) and Bermuda was the most expesive.
  18. It is a beautiful resort. I looked into it. If I did it correctly, I have attached the pdf the resort sent me regarding wedding proposals ritz grand cayman.pdf
  19. I have done a lot of looking around at different islands (Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Grand Cayman) and I foudn that Mexico is the least expensive. It is possible but depends on how you want to do it (such as through a resort or on a public beach using a WC). I think it is doable, but you will ahve to be a little creative. Good luck.
  20. The Reefs is supposed to be very nice but unless you are a small group, you can't get married on the beach. They have a deck called Caso's point which overlooks the beach that they do weddings on. I have a friend who got married there and then did a reception at their restaurants called Coconuts. The pictures looked beautiful.
  21. I am also considering Bermuda and am goign on a scouting trip (including at the Southampton) in a few weeks. I will post reviews when I get back.
