I am not getting married at the ROR but we arenot having a private reception. Personally I feel it is silly to pay for drinks when it is an AI and we can just all find a place to hang out. As for dinner we are just going to head down to the resturants and see what happens. Maybe ask for a group of tables to be reserved ahead of time. But that is us. We are very laided back about most of the things and dont want a production. Just want everyone to enjoy each other and their time. Very informal. Cheers

Oh sh*t I just realized my ceromomy is at 5pm and sunset is at 5:47 on that day! I know I want the moment that we see each other to be walking down the eisle and we can take whatever pictures we can before the sun is gone. Maybe my WC will let us bump it up by 30 min to 4:30!

Bari jay has a color that looks exactly like the tiffany color and lots of sexy fun styles to choose from! Dessy Group also has a HUGE selection. "Pantone tourquise" and "Spa" colors look really close to Tiffany blue. Happy hunting!

Congrats and welcome! I live right by The Vintner Grill and it is a really great resturaunt! We spend lots of time at red rock and that place is amazing also. Hello MrsStairs congrats on the engagment this site will give you lot of information to help pick a resort. I used websites sites like localgringo, vacationstogo.com and others in the beginning to help narrow down resorts. They allow you to group all of the hotels in the mayan riveria by AI or non AIs and then you can group them by adult only and family etc. It really helps I am actually getting married at the grand sunset princess. Will you let me know how your engagment trip was...any tips or advice. Thanks so much! Happy planning

I have a girl frined that is super tiny and the woman told her to buy 3 sizes bigger than her size....I have no idea why and she had alterations and the dress looked amazing!! She paied more for the alterations than the dress but oh well. I would have the shop pay for them and have the dress you love. Also have them clean it., Good luck

I can see the benifits of both! Orignallly I had a 1pm wedding and I was excited because the length of celebration and we are doiing it in Feb so it would be warmer. I did have slight anziety about the resecption and coctail issue but figured it would work itself out. Now I have a 5pm time and like the idea also. The guests will have the day to do as they please and their night will be mine! I think pictures can be great at both times! Remeber you could always do a TTD during sunset if your wedding doesn't fall during one! Good luck

I have a diamond white dress and found diamond white veil but I really don't know how different they are. I found mine on etsy and it is being made for me exactly how I wanted it and diamond white was a color option. I can find the information if yyou are interested. Good luck
