I feel the resort is the hardest choice. We have picked the Princess in PDC but I keep wanted to look at others. There are so many amazing resorts to choose from. Good luck choosing and happy planning!

I live in Vegas so if you have any questions just let me know! Vegas is warm May-Sept. It is beautiful sunny and 70 degree weather October, Novemeber, March and April but can still have some cold days here and there. Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch are two a beautiful hotels that are off the strip but have casinos, buffets and are more economical sometimes. A friend of mine got their Red Rock room on Priceline for under $75 but they put 89135 as the zip with a five star hotel. The pool is amazing and mountain view all around. It is the only one in the zipcode so your really not taking a chance of getting a hotel that you dont want. They run lots of specials. I can tell you about great restraunts too if your intersted. We are not having any bridesmaids or groomsman for the same reason that you mentioned. We thought about putting a little note in the packing list that states something cute and funny about everyone being in our wedding party. ha ha but have not really put much thought into that yet. We just wanted to keep everything really simple and not leave anyone out.

There are two sections so the gazebo one for the guests and one for the wedding party and bride and groom Judging from the pics in the links above the most I saw was 6 BMs and 5 GMs in tha gazebo. But it looks as if it woked out fine. So we got our group rate that the hotel is offereing us and it seems REALLY high. (it is almost double the current rate) There are many specials through website that are like half the price of the group rate that they are offereing us. The hotel is not yet booking our wedding date on thier website so it is really hard to compare apples to apples but this is really frustrating. Has anyone had this experience? Are the hotel group rates higher for some reason? If you use the group rates and the rooms go way down in price will they honor the new rates? WTF....kinda bumbed now.........what if we wait to book to get a discount rate and rooms are all gone?

Congrats on your engagement and I am sorry you are frustreted and stressed! First of all I have to tell you that almost ALL of us on this site have gotten some sort of grief from family or friends at some point in their DW planning. It sucks and is unfair and I dont know how any of these people have the NERVE of asking people to change something about someone elses WEDDING!!!!! THEY ARE ATTENDING IT NOT GETTING MARRIED. grrrr this makes me so mad My futture mother in law hates that we are getting married away in another county and everytime I see her she mentions it. Oh freaking well. It is OUR choice not hers. If you want to get married at the trash facility you should be able to. Do what you want and stick to your guns! Enjoy the process. It is your time! This should be a happy amazing time for you and your family. Hopefully they will come to understand that. Sorry everyone for any insult or offence I am just upset by this. Good luck sweetie.

I hate to be the center of attention so i am not going to wear any bride stuff....but I am going to wear white during the rehersal dinner and while getting ready! Thats it. I love the cute bride stuff! so fun!
