oh dear....FH has messaged our WC himself and told her a few things!! why is the decorated wedding location not decorated at all why are we only allowed a choice of 2 photographers as part of our package when when we booked, there wasn't the restriction on Mexican photographers, just paying the $500 fee what exactly are we paying $3,500 for!! haha, should be an interesting response!! Could you let me know (in a PM if you prefer) what decs you are taking and what ones you are purchasing from Lomas? I have been in correspondence with your lovely photog (he just seems soooo lovely) and we have managed to sort out a package that suits what we want and as long as on Sunday we can downgrade to the silver package, we will be having him too ) I'm trying not to get excited yet though until we have the downgrade of the package confirmed first...then I'll be squealing!! lol but thank you once again for saving my sanity!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!! I might have to downgrade and not have the Sky Deck ( with all the other costs we just don't think we're going to be able to afford the extra $'s for that, or really justify the money. i'm gutted. im hoping we can find a way but it's not looking likely ( Amy I won't be your fellow Sky Deck sister bride anymore boo hoo. on another note, we're going to see our TA on Sunday and going to kick some serious butt! Our wedding contract states we get 'decorated wedding location including chairs for 12 people and table with white linen', so I asked, what decoration do we get? and got told, the chairs and linen IS the decoration!!!!!!! anyone else think this is VERY misleading why say you get it decorated and 'including' if really, that isn't included - that's what it is!! arrggghhh also, some may be interested to know re: photographers......options: 1. you use one of their 2 approved Mexican ones; 2. you bring in someone external (from outside Mexico) and pay $500 vendor fee 3. you bring in someone external (from outside Mexico) and have them stay as a guest and don't pay the $500 vendor fee (at least 3 nights I think - could be wrong). **YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING IN/USE ANOTHER MEXICAN PHOTOGRAPHER (even offering to pay the $500 vendor fee) OTHER THAN THOSE 2 COMPANIES APPROVED** just thought that point's not really been put across in that way but that's what Tiffany has told me today. ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH

sounds a bit silly saying welcome!! but congrats on your ceremony and thank you for posting the info - it will prove invaluble to people on here. You may be able to post it in the Jamaican section now (you have to have posted something in this newbie thread before you are allowed to post anywhere else). They would all find it really useful and may not see this post! Congrats once again.
