  1. Wow!! Looks like she really enjoys her job! That's good to see! Your dress is just beautiful! I'm looking for something similiar! I live in China so luckily I can have my "Dream Dress" made here very cheap!!! Did you have a flowergirl or ring bearer? I wondered how they worked the rose petals... I'm guessing that is an extra cost. Also, what time was your wedding at? Thanks for posting the pic! ~ Erica
  2. Hello 2010 Brides! I am getting married February 10, 2010 in beautiful Riviera Maya, Mexico at the Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort! Congrats to all of you and good luck with the planning! I love this forum! ~ Erica

Do you think I should keep asking them until they confirm, or sould I just wait a couple more months? Are you in touch with Cora the WP? I have her email address if you need it. I've been bouncing ideas back and forth with her. It does take her a while to respond but I figured they are more laid back down there which is good and bad at the same time. Especially if you are trying to plan a wedding!

What was the price difference between the P.C.O.B and the Lookea Bar? We're still trying to decide on what music we want. Is there anyway to hook up an IPOD to the DJ Equipment? Any thoughts you can send my way would be GREAT! Thanks!
  5. Hello claire.cw.watson! I just joined this forum last night and I'm new to this so I have to say how nice it is to talk to other brides. I will be getting married the week before you at the CAT!! Did you go with a TA or did you book through the hotel? I booked through destinationweddings.com. Did you send your STD's out yet? I'm hoping to get mine out very soon! Good Luck on the planning!

If you do the legal ceromony it is performed in spanish by a judge & they have to say a certain script. By doing a symbolic ceremony we are able to have the ceremony we want. I am also happy to save the money & hassle. I don't want to spend time in Mexico with legal stuff. We are going up to the courthouse next week to sign the paperwork. Both moms were happy with the decision. Capt Ricks Sports Fishing Mexico Charters, sailfish, marlin, dorado, wahoo, Puerto Aventuras, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya I'll do a review when we get back. I've heard good things about them & they have been great to work with so far. Also, prices are great. If you have 6 people it's only $45 each. Hello... We are also doing the symbolic ceremony. We figured that our marriage wouldn't be legal in the states anyways. So we will go to the courthouse before our wedding to get the necessary paperwork done. Plus we are paying the extra $300 for the minister so it looks more professional. We still save money and it's just like a legal ceremony.
