I picked resort flowers, went with the lillies. Their flower arrangements always look nice around the hotel (lobby, resturants, ect), and I'm not into planning or dealing with any of that. The event is more about the people we have invited to be there to share this event with us. In 5 or 10 years am I going to remember what my center pieces looked like? No. Am I going to remember by MOH's speach, and how she saved my hair from looking horrible? Yes. Don't sweat the small stuff.

We're doing the trio during the cocktail hour. I chose Cannon D for the walk down the isle, which will be from a stereo, and for the dinner we are doing our ipod from a dock we're supplying. The cocktail hour seemed the best because people will be giddy, and it will provide some entertainment while we are doing pictures. Our wedding is next weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. The hotel does a Mexican night, where the marichai's play. I think it's the same group that is used for the weddings. I'll let you know my thoughts on both.

We're going with the caribbean trio. I think Mariachi's can get a bit annoying, and they'll be around the resort all week for our guests to enjoy.

My time is really running short, and I didn't think we would have any extra money for another photographer. We have some ..... I just wanted to see any pics that another bride might have.

Has anyone used the hotel photographer, Juan Carols? His website looks okay, but I was curious how satisfied other brides have been with his work. How specific do I need to be with the type and style of pictures I want? If you have any pictures, please share. I tried searching his name, but only find information on the other Juan Carlos Tapia photographer. All the best, Maggi

I've worn gel nails for years now, and I have only broken three of them. I ride horses, work on cars, and abuse them as much as possible. The difference with gel nails and acrylic is the in the material. Acryilc has more of a fermaldehyde base, and thus can turn more yellow and lift a bit more. Good gel nails are similar to dental veniers. Howevever, there are some gels or salons that say they use gels that contain fermaldehyde. The gel product used on my nails is called envogue. If you want good gel nails, the cheapie nail salons may not be your best best. Do your research and ask around. I get mine filled every 2-3 weeks. 2 weeks in the summer, 3 in the winter, Nothing makes the ring look better than pretty nails!

I got the same price information from the hotel photographer as well. I don't think there is a price difference, but maybe you don't get a discount until you are there and paying with $$$$.
