I just started tonight (did the chest and back workout) and could hardly do half the push ups! (I feel like such a wimp!) Plus I used the bands instead of the pull up bar and snapped the band in half! Then I did the ab ripper...short but WOW! That guy is crazy!!!

Hi Ladies! I was born in Peterborough, ON, but my parents moved back to the city when I was 5. I grew up in Richmond Hill, where I still live. FI was born in Labrador City, NFLD and moved to Peterborough when he was 10 - so we just missed each other! We didn't meet until he was living in the Beaches of Toronto We both live in Richmond Hill now and are building a house in Stoufville that will be ready next June. I know Aylmer because I went to Western and lived in London for 4 years!

Ok, I can kind of laugh today, but yesterday I was FURIOUS... I had asked FI to put a few loads of his laundry in and I had left our sheets on the laundry room floor, since I was planning to do them after... He decides to shove in our sheets with the last bit of his laundry. A little while later, he attempts to refill a small spray bottle with the large bottle of Javex BLEACH and accidentally spills some (he says a little, but it must've been A LOT), which dribbles into the laundry machine... At this point the load of laundry is on the final spin cycle (with no other water in the machine to dilute it...) The result.... Is he trying to prove he shouldn't be asked to do laundry? LOL Anyone know of any good sheet sales going on right now in Toronto?!?

Our furbabies! Arnold the cat and Coby the dog (Pug-a-bull) - they usually get along, but here Coby is saying Stay away from my bone! Here's Arnold getting a bath, poor guy!

I got mine at Best for Bride in Etobicoke. It's smallish, but they have a fairly good selection of DW dresses or bridesmaids dresses that as Debs mentioned, you could order in white... My BM's are just each buying a regular dress within the 'colour scheme' I figured that way, I know they're going to like them and wear them again!

I'm going through the same thing! I was hoping to have that money for furniture and closing costs... but I guess we'll just have scrimp and save for the next year! (it's a new development, so we don't close until next June)... Good luck to you!

Hi KPEG, I just went through that process as well with the WC at DLR and it was pretty nerve wracking... I actually wrote my subject line as: URGENT Wedding Inquiry and she responded fairly quickly. Once I confirmed my date was available, I sent in my reservation forms about 4 days later (confirmed on a Thurs and sent forms on the Tuesday) and the deposit was taken off my credit card a few days later and I received the 'official' confirmation from Tiara then. Good luck to you, it's a huge relief once you are booked!

What about when gratuities are charged on top of your package price? Mine is 16% tax and 10% gratuities. Should we tip again? So confusing!

Woohoo, just sent my confirmation in to book our wedding date at DLR for April 28, 2010! So far we have 23 people booked and about another 20 who want to book closer to the date. Maybe I'll see some of you ladies there! We arrive April 23rd and will probably stay for 7-10 days..

Most websites say 75 minutes from the airport to Dreams La Romana... but as mentioned above stopping for drinks/food could make it longer - and probably more fun!!
