  1. I'm doing a cruise wedding with a relatively small number of guests (20 in total). For our dinner, we will be going to one of the private restaurants on the ship. Because I have no control over the number of tables we'll be assigned or their positioning, I'm going to arrive early and set the placecards myself where I want people to sit. This way, I don't have to worry about any family drama over who gets to sit where.
  2. I love option B....it seems more light and airy. However, you certainly can't go wrong with either- both are gorgeous! It's a tough call but go with whatever YOU like best.

Do you think 3 hours is enough time for some mingling, dinner, then speaches, special dances and some par-tay-ing!? I was recently on a tall ship for a wedding reception here in Nova Scotia. The ship was not quite as elaborate as yours will be from what I can imagine. We were onboard for a total of 3 hrs. There were appetizers, a bar and live musicians. Everyone had a great time but I would have preferred for it to have been a little longer. If you're having a dinner- I would consider extending by another hour. Kerri
  4. Difficult decision! I can see why you're having a hard time. I love #1
  5. I'm in the same boat....my only BM is wearing turquoise and I was torn on a coordinating colour. I'm leaning towards hot pink.
  6. I too am a big fan of the webcam! I've spent countless hours on that talking with my man. Thankfully we're together right now which is nice. We were quite worried for a while after we had selected our wedding date thought because for the longest time, my FI could not get his military leave pass approved for our wedding if you can believe that! In the end, it all worked out and we are lined-up to get married in Jan. (thankfully!)
  7. I don't think it's every too early to book as long as the venue(s) will allow you to reserve that far in advance, why not! Congrats!
  8. Congrats- you must be thrilled that everything turned out in the end.
  9. I used the following wording for my invitations: Together with their parents ME And HIM Request the pleasure of your company Aboard their wedding cruise On Princess Cruise Line's Ruby Princess Departing on Saturday, the ninth of January Two thousand and ten From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA Ceremony to take place Tuesday, the twelfth of January At Bluebeard’s Beach On the island of St. Thomas, USVI Because I used a pocket fold invite, I'll look to include a note that an invitation to our AHR will follow. Unfortunately we are unable to plan our AHR until after our cruise as my FI is in the military and we're not certain as to when he will be available (it was a big struggle for us to be able to secure our wedding date because of their scheduling).

  11. We're doing 1 bag per couple. Singles would receive their own bag.
  12. Good luck to you! I'm sure you'll find something beautiful that fits within your budget.
  13. These will be my shoes... https://www.coloriffics.com/detail.p...ICTORIA&type=W I loved that they are a dressier kind of wedge. Appropriate for both the beach, and for the AHR.
  14. What a great idea! Thanks for the suggestions, I may look to do this as well.

I found this website that carries the bouquet starfish in 3 colours....clear, a sand colour, and aquamarine. I hope this helps! Kerri
