  1. My sister ran into a similar scenario for her wedding. Except in her case, she wanted to have an extra bridesmaid. In the end, there was an uneven number of wedding attendants (4 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen), but what she did was have both my other sister and I (who were bridesmaids), be escorded down the aisle by our brother (who was one of the groomsmen). In all of the wedding pictures with the bridal party, the three of us siblings were grouped together. She had a great photographer who chose poses for photos that didn't accentuate the unevenness. I'm not sure if this helps or not...just wanted to give you another option, if you wanted to have him as a groomsman.

  12. I'm going to bring signs with us that say "thank" and "you" and ask our photographer to take a picture of us holding them. We'll be using that pic as the front image on our thank you cards.
  13. What a beautiful dress! I think it would look so cute shortened. You'd get your money's worth for sure- it's so practical!
  14. I am doing OOT bags that will have some favours in them. In my OOT bags, I'm including starfish wine stoppers, luggage tags, beach towels, ocean themed wine charms, etc. I'm also doing small starfish picture frames as placecards for dinner (we have a starfish theme going on). Between all of those things, I think I've got favours and OOT covered.

  16. I voted for pork because the chicken has cottage cheese, which in my experience, a fair number of people do not enjoy.
  17. I was 8 and my sister was 7 when we were both junior bridesmaids in a wedding- I think 8 is okay!

  20. Great Post! I was curious about this too! For the ladies who have done this- has your coordinator provided all of the supplies or will I have to look to bring sand and a container? Thanks!
