  1. I can see where you're coming from but in the end, I'm sure when you're in the moment, the color of her dress isn't going to matter. You're going to be so focused on enjoying your day and becoming a wife, that these small things (that may seem large now), will turn out to be relatively small bumps. Look on the bright side- at least she's not wearing white (that's what my stepmother had picked out for herself to wear to my wedding!).
  2. Darn....somebody beat me to it! Happy to take them off your hands if for some reason it doesn't work out with "Ethan's Mommy".
  3. We had a caricature done of us that we're bringing with us to the beach and will have our guests attending the actual ceremony sign the photo mat. We figured this would be more practical than a book, because we'll get to look at this up on the wall. For our AHR, we intend to do the whiteboard guestbook that a number of brides on this forum have done, and we'll make a scrapbook with those photos. Hope this helps! You should do a search on guestbooks- there are some other creatibe ideas in here if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.

Up until that time, we were doing the long distance thing (for over 2 years) where I was living in Ottawa. I just moved out here to Halifax in January and absolutely love it! If you're up for it (and any other ladies in the Halifax area)- it might be fun to get together! Kerri

  6. Hi There! We're doing a wedding moon on board the Ruby Princess departing from Ft. Lauderdal on Jan 9th, 2010. We're getting married in St. Thomas on the 12th. I thought I would reach out to see if there are any other brides who will be sailing on the Ruby that week as well. It might be nice to meet up on the ship! Anyone else out there

Let's hope this remain that way. If they don't then I am afraid that I will have to classify myself as a bridezilla which I'm trying to avoid with every fiber of my being...lol.
  8. I absolutely love #2 on you! The neckline and bodice of the dress suit you well.

  10. I think we're going to go with Theory of a Deadman's "Wait for Me". Very fitting given my Fiance is in the military and we literally spent the first 2.5 years we were together living in different time zones.
  11. We used "beach elegance" and then in one of the invitation inserts, provided the example of sundresses for ladies and khaki's/linnen pants & collared shirt for men.
  12. You've thought of everything! It all looks great.
  13. Hi Ladies, I was hoping to sell these for the price that I had purchased them for, however it doesn't look like that's a possibility. With that, I'm lowering the prices of the above clutches to $20 for the white and $15 for the teal- plus shipping. Please PM me if interested.
  14. It sounds like I'm going against the grain but I'm in love with the silk gown- you do look stunning in both though!
  15. congratulations and welcome from a fellow cruise bride! We're setting sail on the Ruby Princess and are getting married in St. Thomas as well! You'll find lots of great info on this site- have fun planning!
  16. Hi Ladies, I purchased these two clutches for myself however, I have found another that I prefer and so I am looking to sell these. Both are brand new and have the tags still attached. The first is a white satin clutch with a vintage looking rinestone clasp. It comes with removable chain strap and measures 10 x 5 x 3 (inches). Asking $32 US plus shipping. The second is a teal satin clutch with with a vintage looking rhinestone clasp. It comes with removable chain strap and measures 9.5 x 4.5 x 1 (inches). Asking $26 US plus shipping. Please PM me if interested. I will confirm shipping cost prior to mailing.

I know I was disapointed that we couldn't print them ourselves, I think this is a reasonable alternative.
