Time is flying by, and I can't wait to marry my best friend! We booked our cruise and ceremony/reception package (photography included) back in June. DJ is booked. We sent out our STD's. Website is up. We have 21 people booked for the cruise. We did a registry with Carnival and one with Bed, Bath & Beyond. I bought my dress. I bought my bridesmaid's gifts. My colors are white, black and red. My dress is white with a red sash and my girls are wearing black dresses. I chose the red because I'm wearing my late grandmother's diamond & ruby jewelry as my "something old." What's left: Invitations Wedding Bands Shoes Veil Favors OOT bags Flowers Finding a hairstylist and makeup artist who will come to my house very early in the morning

I have 21 sailing guests booked, and 13 of them are guys, including one 8 year old. The 8 girls will be easy....but I'm stuck on the guys because most of them are teenagers. Cards are a good idea. I really don't think snacks will be helpful because we'll be on a cruise and there's 24 hour room service included.

Thanks everyone! My brother, who has never been to a wedding, asked why the back was so long. I told him I got it like that so he could walk behind me all day holding it lol!

They're beautiful! Your guests will love the bags and I know I'd use a bag like that more than once! Don't worry about them not being beachy enough...your guests are probably going to bring their own bags for the beach anyway. I love the cooler idea for the guys...I've been looking for ideas for my guys (we have more guys than girls booked as of now) and I think that's a perfect way to pack their OOT goodies!

Congratulations! I'm getting married on the Carnival Miracle!

I decided to go check out some dresses at David's Bridal today, but didn't think I would find, as my 18 yr old brother said, "THEEE dress." I picked this dress because my wedding colors are white, black and red (because I'll be wearing ruby & diamond jewelry that belonged to my late grandmother--who I never met but the whole family says I remind them of her). I didn't think I'd want a dress with color, but fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on. The back of the dress has more sparkle to it, but you can't see it in the pics. I just wish I didn't have to wait until August to wear it!

I'm getting married on 08.19.2010. So far we've sent out our save the date packets, booked our cruise, ceremony and reception, booked the dj and sent in the cake form. Right now we're waiting for people to get their cruise deposits in. I haven't gone dress shopping yet, but I'm going to start that next month.

I want to do the same thing! Our TA put our room down the hall from the other balcony rooms, and most of our guests are booking interior rooms, so I want to do something so we can all find each other. Magnets sound like a great idea...maybe get those write on/wipe off magnetic boards.

They look professional! Maybe you should design bags as a side job!
