Which just seems really early to me, but I'm hoping you girls can help me figure out how to work it out. I did ask Carolina if we could move the time, and she said we could do the legal part with the judge at 1:00 and then the ceremony with Pastor Rick later. However, the fiance was not really a fan of this idea. He really wants to do both things at once. So that option is out, and it looks like 1:00 it is. So..... If we get married at 1:00, how long does the ceremony take? We'd do pictures after the ceremony, but do you do cake/first dance then, too? (Is there a champagne toast thing, too??) We're doing the beach party later, but the photographer will be long gone by then. Cake after wedding or at dinner? Even if we do pictures, cake, champagne, etc. right after ceremony, it will still only be 3:00, maybe 4:00, when all of that is done. What would we have our guests, and ourselves really, do for that gap between all of that and dinner/beach party? I'm really struggling with what to do and how to handle the timing of all of that. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! How about planning a cocktail hour at Hemmingways? Just have everyone head over there and party it up until dinner time!

I sent her my agreement form and she replied "thanks" but we haven't discussed any restaurants or anything. Maybe when it gets closer I can request one but since I am doing the semi-private, I am assuming I just get whatever is available. I wonder how the times for the weddings are determined. I wanted 5pm but she said she only had 2pm (which I am a little sad about) but we are doing a ROV ceremony. I was going to email her and ask if she had the wording or how it worked. Can my dad still walk me down the isle and give me away? Anyone do the ROV that may be able to help me out? Hi! I am very excited! I will definitely post pictures very soon! We are doing the ROV, but we are using Pastor York to do the ceremony. He charges 300 and puts together a beautiful and more tradition ceremony together for you. If it's in your budget I highly recommend it. Book early because he is very popular. As far as times go, since we can only rewuest and keep fingers crossed, I say don't stress it. Whether its 2 or 5, it will all work out great. I think every time has a different advantage. More sunlight, closer to dinner time...etc. They seem to make it work out well no matter what time it's at. Dad can definitely walk you down the aisle.

Hi! I've over purchased and instead of running to Michaels to return these luggage tags I figured I'd see if any of you ladies are in need. I have a HUGE variety of tags. The ones seen below and also I have some with initials monogram on them. I paid $1 for each and I will sell for the same since I am able to return them. Plus shipping. I also have this necklace and bracelet set made by "madebysam" on Etsy. I paid $135 for the set as a maid of honor gift, but decided to go with something else. It is very pretty and perfect for the beach desctination theme. $75 with free shipping Message me if you're interested

Well ladies...I haven't contacted Carolina in quite sometime because I have this site to answer my questions and when I met with her last year it seemed that most decisions will be done when I get down there. That being said, she EMAILED me today to REMIND me that my day is coming. lol. LOVE IT! It's becoming sooo real now. She just emailed me to ask me to send her a list of my guests and their dates booked and I let her know that Pastor York confirmed 6:30pm for the ceremony. She emailed me right back "Ok, Perfect, Thanks!" I sent her my list, which she will also be receiving from my TA Dina (a BDW agent). I've just completed my chapsticks, my kids OOT sandbuckets, raffia fans wrapped with ribbon and added paper flowers, emergency kits and programs...I KNOW I MUST POST PICS!! Everything is coming out sooo awesome, FI loves it all too. MANY MANY thanks to all the wonderful brides and their ideas here on BDW!! I'm super excited! And I already don't want it to end! lol

Now I'm really torn. I was hoping you would say wait until the DW! lol. When are you doing your civil ceremony? I really don't want anyone to know because I call it "paperwork day" not the REAL wedding. I go back and forth about who to bring etc.

I still cant decide when to give it to him. I'm like a little kid, I can't wait! lol. I was even thinking that since we are getting married officially here in NY that I might want to give it to him then? Although waiting until the official ceremony and in Punta Cana may be more romantic and fun?? I have no clue. Imma just leave it in the bathroom for him today lol.

Then you will review the photos immediately following the photoshoot and select the ones you would like for your photobook. She has the completed package to you very quickly, usually about 2 weeks average, but also her order of completing is partly based on wedding dates. I have not seen any complaints about her service. She communicates via email very quickly. Her son was a bit sick and she wrote me that she would be delayed with my pics a couple days, but I wasn't even expecting them yet! I highly recommend her for her skills as a boudoir photographer as well as professionalism. I'll be happy to answer any additional questions

I am wearing a nice dress, but it is a destination style and not too dressy. He doesn't have any groomsman. Just wondering if anyone else did the shorts thing for the groom and how did they feel about it? We are getting married in Aruba and I also need to look into whether the officiants would have a problem shorts on the beach. Thanks ladies! I've seen it done and it definitely looks nice. I think given your description that it should totally work. I was thinking the same, but some of my groomsmen have fugly legs. lol. Good luck! -

Designer:Pronovias Style:Imperio Condition:New With Tags Color:White Label Size:16 Street Size:10 Price: $500, OBO Brand new Pronovias Imperio wedding gown. This beautiful WHITE gown has a sweetheart neckline, rusched taffeta, which comes together at the waistline with a beautiful flower (which can also be removed), and vents to show off the beautiful tulle in the skirt. I'm afraid that my description doesn't do this dress justice. I loved this dress, but my mom bought me a different shorter dress that I decided to wear the entire ceremony. This dress has never been used or altered, and is still in the original bridal bag. It is a size 16, but a street size 10. I'm a size 8-10, 5'7, 36c and it fit perfectly except length needs to be hemmed and taken in about a cup in the chest. I was told that it can easily be taken in 2 sizes.

Sorry been MIA, no internet! ugh. lol We are all staying in the Bavaro section fro our wedding. FI and I have the Romance Suite, we saw it last year when we did a tour with Carolina and FI and groomsmen loved the outdoor hammock and shower. I mentioned Royal Suite, but he wants that hammock. He'll prolly use it once lol. It was very cool looking though. Like a completely closed in hut outdoors. If you want to wait to book that room and start with a jr suite, til I get back I'll let you know if it's worth the upgrade. The jr. suites and the deluxe rooms were all very nice. Deluxe was smaller though so that's the way to go if you really don't think you need the space and just plan to sleep and change there.
