  1. Hi Christina! welcome to the forum! I am a beaches bride as well! Happy planning!
  2. Hi Shauna! welcome to the forum and congrats!! happy planning!
  3. Welcome to the forum!!! You will find tons of helpful information here.
  4. I totally know what you mean!! I am getting married at Beaches Turks and Caicos and I didnt do much research and I basically decided right away that is where we would go. Our friends got married there and kids are allowed and they had such great things to say about it. I knew I wouldnt choose Jamaica because my parents wouldnt go. So when I get on the forum and saw where everyone else is getting married makes me wonder if I did enough research and makes feel like I should have chosen differently.

  6. wow totally awesome!!! You will have such a blast!!!
  7. I really love "Until the very end". It is also from a book and that is where I first read/saw it and Im also thinking of getting it as a tattoo. So it would be neat if it was on FI's ring and then I would have a tattoo of it also.
  8. that is exactly it. I want to be funny and romantic! Its such a tough decision.

  10. We are paying around $3950. That includes wedding day, trash the dress, and boudoir shoots. That also includes all images/high res disks and one album for each shoot, so three albums total. We did not have to pay travel fees because they are on the island. Which worked out great for us.

And in regards to decorations... are my only options the Martha Stewart collection or nothing? I really don't want to spend that much on decorations and the cheapest options do not go with my colors. I was thinking maybe I should just buy decorations here and bring it there... it would probably be a lot cheaper... do they allow this? Hi When I first booked our wedding back in January, the free weddingmoon I was told by my WC that there would be an arch on the beach and minimal decorations, but it was something so I was ok. Now she is saying with the new Martha Stewart packages you have to purchase any/all decorations and they must be in one of the packages, nothing a la carte. The cheapest package starts at $1800! No decorations come in the sweet beginnings package. If a simple basic package was $500, I would say ok but $1800 is not something I wanted to do for an hour of decorations. She told me one thing and now since they added MS packages,, we should be given the option of keeping our "free package" which was what was available when we booked.

After all the advice given on here, I have decided to not do OOT bags, a formal private welcome welcome dinner (we will have a informal welcome meet n greet), and I cut the excursions, this will save us at least 4K from the budget. so we will see how this works Cutting all of those are out are definitely money savers!!
