  4. Hmmm I paid $3950 for our photographer. -That was 3 different days of shooting. -2 flush mount albums with 70 pictures each -1 album with 20 pictures. Over 1000 pictures taken. All of the images on high res cd. We bought 5 images from our resort photog for $130 and I thought it was a rip off. They were an extra $5 each or so bc they were "wedding day photos" Im thinking its an ok deal. And if you are happy, that is all that matters!

  9. Heather, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so truly sorry that you have to go through this. You seem in high spirits and that takes a lot but I think it will help you through this rough time. You can always find us on here for support and strength.
  10. We brought everything with us in our suitcases and assembled everything when we arrived in Turks. They do not allow you to ship anything to them and their postal services are awful. Good Luck!

I'm going to do the blue m&ms (and I'm going to call the store in Times Square to see if they will give me a bride / bulk discount), blue gummi sharks, and some other candies to round out the spread. Our colors were navy blue and bright pink and I was able to find a ton of candy but it was not cheap. I also did hershey kisses and peppermint patties silver wrappers and it tied everything together! Looked awesome. We also had bright pink gumballs, pink sour watermelons, blue and pink m&ms, blue rock candy, jordan almonds, blue and pink salt watwr taffy and I think that's it
  16. We did a candy buffet at our almost married reception and we are doing one at our ahr. For the almost married I color coordinated all the candy and it was not cheap. We got out candy from lots of different places, mymms.com, candywarehouse.com, gumballs.com, bj's and a few other websites. It cost me over 600 dollars in candy! This time we decided not to color coordinate and bought all our candy at costco for about 150 dollars! It def was a huge hit...people loved it! Do a search there are some other threads about candy buffets that are helpful.
  17. Hi there! Although I am not a Beaches Negril Bride.. I am a Beaches T&C bride and they run practically the same way! SO def check out my review and planning thread! I also didnt do the upgraded reception.. we stuck to the beautiful beginnings package and made reservations at a restaurant for after our "free cocktail reception" and it worked out perfectly! The wedding coordinators whom you meet with once on site.. are absolutely fabulous!! Miami wedding planners can be very overbearing and misleading. So dont stress out! good luck and happy planning!
  18. I love this theme! We are using it for our AHR this saturday!!! everything is going to look so awesome.. so excited! Ill def post some inspiration pics!
  19. Hi there! I agree with LynnieS, I would wear a white shirt and add an accent of hot pink. Good Luck!
