heyyyy all!! Just wondering if anyone else does this... last week I went to go add something to my registry and remove something else, as I was doing this I noticed that some of my items were purchased and I was EXTREMELY EXCITED! That is so exciting!! I dont know why I think maybe because it actually set in that this is really happening and we are really getting married and people are happy for us and ready to celebrate!! So I find myself looking at my registries like once a week! just to see if anything else is going on!!!! I dont want that to seem weird or crazy.. Im just way excited.. PLEASE tell me there are other brides out there looking at their registries!?

Hey all! I was thinking about how I was going to ask and my bridesmaids to be my bridesmaids.. formally! So I was thinking Im going to order the dresses and then ship them out to them each individually and I wanted to do a cute card with a poem or something nice on there.. did anyone else ask their BM's to be their BM's with the traditional card and if so.. are there any nice and fun poems floating around out there!!?

Hey all! I have come upon a new lifestyle of eating habits and healthy-ness! Its called the HCG diet...Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein hormone produced in pregnancy. So you take the drops/shots.. I take the drops and it basically what is does instead of feeding a fetus.. it feeds off the fat. So all those stubborn areas you can never ever get rid of sort of disappear. It is a pretty strict diet. But very healthy, fruits, vegetables, proteins, water etc. I really really like this plan and heard about it from a friend who did really well on it and a couple of girls I work with in the hospital also have done it and have seen great results. It is all about portion size and food control. I have been on it for 20 days and have lost 14 pounds. You can do it the diet for up to 40 days. And then you go on a maintenance plan to keep the weight off etc. I feel extremely healthy and fit and love waking up in the morning to feel myself... almost smaller! Hard to believe but its true!!!!! I think before the wedding around december I will do another round of it, to be exactly where I want to be for my January wedding! Just wondering if anyone else has tried it?? And what you thought? Or if anyone is thinking about trying it!?

I think that is a great idea! I was worried about the poofy of my dress as well and the seamstress said cutting out a few layers would be perfect for the look I wanted!!! Glad you're happy!!!! beautiful dress!!

I think a registry is always great! it doesnt matter how long you have been together!! they are celebrating you as a couple! You can spread the word through all different types of communication. I know when you register @ the bigger stores it asks if you would like to send an e-vite email letting everyone know you have registered etc. I personally didnt do this BUT I was registered when I sent the shower invites so I was able to put the little cards in them. Have fun!

Beaches/Honeymoon/Airfare $6000 Photographer(Tropical Imaging) $3900 Dress/Grooms/Bridal party attire $2000 OOT Bags & Items $500 Flowers $400 Videographer $1000 DJ $1000 Invitations/seals/thank you's/etc $1200 Wedding bands/Jewelry $1700 Bridal Party/Family Gifts $750 Thats all I can think of right now bringing our grand total too...$18,450... which still leaves me with $1550 before I am over budget woooo hoooo!!!!

ok that woman is horrible #1 and #2 I can not believe she asked for the flowers back, I would tell her to go fly a kite, and that she needs to fully refund you for the flowers you paid for and the inconveince she has set on you!!!!!!! un believable! def blog everywhere you can not to use this woman ever again!!!! future brides beware. Now can you get a real bouquet at your destination?? You may have enough time to get exactly what you are looking for! If not check out etsy.. Im doing clay flowers and you may be able to write someone on there get them made and shipped to you with in the week! it does not hurt to try! pm if you want the name of my girl she is amazing!and speedy!

I think it is perfect. I had the same issue.. too poofy, too big for destination and then with some help and re-assurance from this blogand the great brides, and re trying it on.. it is perfect!!! You have to love it and you look really happy in the dress and also who cares.. it is your wedding day! wear what you love!!!!!! Im doing the same thing and grooms men are wearing the same attire as yours.. but the bride and groom are the stars of the day you will look beatiful and stunning and I love it! As for the TTD it is perfect!!! follow your heart!!

Original state-issued birth certificate AND a valid passport or driver's license ... do they literally want my original birth certificate?! All pages of the court certified final divorce decree... Im not divorced... State issued death certificates with related marriage certificate.. Im not dead.. Legal name changes or legal adoptions papers if applicable.. Do I need to change my name before we go? They need this paperwork in October, so do I need to change my name before then?

All BEACHES/SANDALS brides out there!!! Im so confused with the paper work we need to have done! I know we each need to fill out an affidavit saying we both have not been married and we are US citizens.. and I can go to any bank to have that notarized correct? What other paperwork do they want and need besides a photo copy of our passports... which we still need to get! HELP! so confused! I know Im prob freaking out over nothing but the paperwork is due in october and it is quickly approaching!!!!
