  2. hi there! We love Beaches brides. There are some other beaches brides on here as well along with other threads! Im beaches turks and caicos bride as well. January 2010. I hired outside photographers Tropical Imaging (look them up) to take us off property to take our pictures. Im only using the Beaches photographers for ceremony pics. Also there are a couple of hair and makeup woman/salons off site that I heard are great as well. The salon on site has trained professionals. I had a friend use them and she loved them!

I already have a professional photographer booked, and have talked to both our TA as well as the resort about this and have been told there will be no issues. I think you are going to have issues with this. I have spoken with soo many people about it and if your professional photographer has one camera and no equipment or anything like that then I guess you could use them. But basically anything more than a single camera would be considered a professional.."outside vendor". You would not want your day to be ruined by not being able to have your photographer. We have hired a photographer to take us off property and take our pictures. And Im going to use the Beaches photographer for our ceremony only.
  5. I got together with my "stampin up" girl and basically we designed it together. But you can find all the tools you need at any craft store! You need circles punches and I was able to use her big shot (which is a very large punching tool) to make the mini envelopes. I used adhesive runner to adhere everything to one another. For the "thank you" I used a stamp and then punched it out and the blue scallop and pink circle are also scrapbooking punches.I used a paper cutter to cut the papers to the precise size I needed and glued everything together. You can do anything you put your mind too..its funny when you put things on paper... you can make them happen!! Let me know if you need any help!! I love to help!
  6. our "almost married" reception! thats the theme almost married. hehe! Im soo excited. Its basically a full reception with out being married yet!
  7. Heyy everyone!!! So I spent 5 hours last night and 2 hours tonight making and finishing my DIY thank you cards for our "Almost Married" Reception that is next week back home in Connecticut. This is our form of our AHR before the wedding, as we will not be able to fly home after the wedding, we actually have to do another AHR here in Utah for all our Utah friends and family that can not make it!! Hope you guys like them!!! Let me know if you have any questions. They are pretty simple to make if you have all the tools, or know some else who does. Just a process of steps! But I love them and I think everyone who gets one in the mail will be pretty happy about them as well!!! The small white inserts are where you right the message and then they slide right into the envelopes!!!
