I know I saw everyone's siggy and I really wanted a pic for our STDs - its funny because we got engaged in Jamaica but my FI made fun of me for wanting to write our names in the sand - I thought it would have been cute to do our names and 'we're engaged' in the sand for announcements - thinking back i wish i would have just done it!

For those of you who bought your dresses online - did you try the dress on (or one similar) at home before you ordered it? I am definitely a visual person and need to see it on me first. I really like this idea and I'm glad there are so many good reviews of online dresses!

We are huge Bears fans (and are most of the gm) blue and orange swim trunks. We are alternating between the two colors. We also want to get shirts for the guys with some clever saying about the wedding & the Bears. For the girls we are getting these red bathing suits (I can't wait to take a group pic - I'm getting a white suit) Sorry there is no pic but they are super cute tank-inis I also want to get them cover ups, still looking for those. I hope that's enough we are on a tight budget so I wanted to get them something nice that they will use after the wedding (plus every time they wear the suit they will think of us!) Also- I don't know what we are supposed to do for our parents, I can't think of anything appropriate...if anyone has any ideas let me know! Great thread by the way!

Everything looks great! Did you have instructions for the veil or did you just wing it? I love it and I am thinking of a veil like that so if I can DIY it should save some money!

I am not sure about the pricing for wedding packages but the Mayan Palace in Rivera Maya is my favorite resort I've been too in Mexico/Caribbean. Its family friendly and very accommodating. It's also close to town and they have great restaurants and shops in town (once again my favorite town!) I would be getting married there but my FI's cousin tried to get married at the Iberostar in Rivera Maya in 2005 and they all got hit by Hurricane Wilma. We don't want everyone to obsess over than (which they still do) Anyway - good luck its a great area!
