Well I was actually in finance for a few years...then decided i should get my masters in elementary teaching bcuz thats what i always wanted to do...soooo..i leave my job go to school, finally am done can get a job and then they put a freeze on hiring all new teachers..chose the right time to make the switch! lol well macys was success and not..it was because I love the dress(Demetriosbride.com - Wedding Dress Demetrios Blue) and u cant tell there are flowers of the same material on the bottom all over it and the top has like flowers made out of diamonds but delicate, but its nothing like what i thought I was going to get and its huge! lol., so first i wanted something destinationy then i said screw it..im only going to be a bride once..god willing anyway..lol, so may as well do it grande! oh no im not goin 2 klienfelds because knowing myself ill love the dress that i cant have and then nothing from then on will compare.

And I agree w.Danielle..I had the same thing..although I didnt announce the bridal party it was understood amongst my "friends" that if i ever got married they'd be bridesmaids so when we got engages they were all like we are gonna be ur bridesmaid to which i said ofcourse..now we are going away and i said instead of creating a headache, and feeling like an idiot when you find out ur bridal party isnt going to come, i decided on a maid of honor, best man, and told them all that because its such a small group I dont want to have a bridal party..ull be better off...less stress finding dresses, buying dresses and dealing with potential drama

LOL not for me..i went bathing suit shopping today and did the dress shopping as u know and then? went out to eat! when we came back i told my FI im gonna be in wedding mode and go 2 the gym w.him( we live together dunno if i mentioned that) and hes a gym rat that goes everyday so i have someone at home motivating me to come with him, driving me there..and me? rather stay at home..normal? NO! lol

as for the bridal garden...wow thats amazing that it goes towards education..maybe it will go towards the budget of trying to hire educators and they can lift the hiring freeze and i can get a J-O-B!!!!!!

Ok well..today i went to macys and saks..so ive officially been to 4 stores. Damaris-i would start sooner then that because i thought i had all the time in the world turns out it takes 6 mths to get the dress so get crackin on that, because its a confusing thing..i started this week and u love everything so u need time to make up ur mind as for me...saks i hated..was a little to conservative for my taste..too simple and conservative for me..i need something a little different, dramatic, blingy and sweet at the same time..surprisingly i fell in love with one at macys, everything was kinda ugly except for the one that they had on display before u walk in and i was like wow thats gonna be $10k, but it was only $2k, so i tried and loved it and now im confused.Way more poofy then what i was going for but its ridiculously nice.. I want a dress where people are like damn! lol everyone keeps telling me kleinfelds but im scared of stuck up sales people..because if i lucked out at the other place this place i dont stand a chance..and i know im going to end up falling in love with the one dress thats like 25k and then nothing will compare. how the hell do you decide

I just looked on the site for #1 and its ridiculous Its different..and has that wow factor, plus the flower is beautiful. OMG i am in love with it, The 2nd is beautiful but its simple and delicate..the first just has so much more of an impression. I like things that are different and that dress is so dramatic but soft at the same time. Its beautiful but in an unusual way..its just different..omg you should get that one i love it.

Sheree...go to the place I went to yest..ur in ny too..and the place is in LI they had many dresses..and i'll tell you the girls name that I met with, she was so insanely nice its not even normal. Scuba-arrange the height of the dress according to the height of the heel..and then in flipflops it'll be a little longer, I don't think your going to be getting 5in heels because that'll just be masochistic to wear a heavy dress and wobble in heels, so even if its a 3inch heel that wont be too bad against the floor

OMG woodbury commons is most def the best outlet place in NY...blows jersey gardens away...if you name a designer or store they have it there from oshkoshbgosh& gap to prada and gucci...everything under the sun..and its all outdoors so its just an awesome way to spend a day when its a nice day that is.
