Here are 2 of my completed DIY Projects. The key card holders were made with business cards from Vista (used them for luggage tags too). I printed everyone's name on top of the saying many forum brides have used. I used name badge labels I found at the Dollar Tree (great buy!) and cut them down. For the playing cards, I used the whole name badge label. It was the perfect size! The cards are from Oriental Trading.

Thanks guys! I'm trying to post a template of the brochure, but it looks like I can't--I'm guessing its my status. Bummer! Well I will get the pictures up soon, I've emailed them to my picasa account--as soon as they show up I will upload.

I'm a huge fan of picasa from google. That's what I use for mine!

This week I delivered or mailed my pre-travel kit. It included a brochure, luggage tags, and ziploc baggies for everyone. I put a note for the ziploc baggie to be used for their carry-on liquids. Of course I borrowed the brochure from several others and combined it into one that worked for us. Thanks ladies!!! I'm very happy with it all, slightly bummed that the vista business cards were smaller than my holder, but not a big deal. I printed out everyone's name, address, and phone number onto a label then cut it down to size for the back. I just took some pictures, I will upload and post soon.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the input! I ended up creating something a little new. I was opposed to the palm tree because of the AHR, but I like the way this turned out, and John loved the idea of a palm tree. The font is angelina from dafont if anyone needs it.

Most favors are totally cheesey, I agree! I am doing OOT bags with useful stuff. I LOVE the cigar idea, I think that is much better than a normal favor. Candy is always good too--at least you know it won't get tossed out. For my AHR we're giving out stadium cups for everyone to use and keep. I'm still not 100% sure about this, but it is the only thing my fiance' has requested, so I'm doing it for him. He figures people will keep a cup more than a random favor. Who knows, but at least it serves a purpose that night (and on the beach).

I have got to stop adding to my to-do list, but I may have to make these!!! At least one for me!

Hey ladies, so my fiance' has decided that he really wants to order cups for our OOT bags. But now this has grown into cups for our OOT bags AND our reception. So we are ordering 500 cups, but I'm not sure what to put on them. I have a 'Mexico' monogram and I have a plain J + P logo we've been using, but I hate to put the palm trees on something we will use back home. Not sure about the dates either, but maybe if we put both dates (September 4 & October 3). I will post the stuff we have used. We are less than a month away and I had hoped to order these today, but since I can't decide on a design, its not looking good. I have been too busy to play with this much, so this is my first time and I'm getting frustrated. Any suggestions are appreciated!!! Thanks in advance! (Looking at a translucent blue cup with 1-color (brown) imprint on 2 sides)

Yup, one month from yesterday for me. I still have tons to do. I am really enjoying it, I just wish I didn't have so many other things going on that are stressing me out, I really just want to savor everything that is going on right now. But luckily I think things are calming down (my fiance' was in icu for a blood clot a couple weeks ago--he's doing much better now, and I have been stressing about taking a new job--I start 2 weeks before the wedding, but I feel better now that a decision has been made). So really--just wedding bliss for the next few weeks. It's so soon, I can't wait!!!

These are awesome, I'm not sure if I have time, but I may trade in my beach bags that I don't love for these. Can't wait to hear where. Love them!
