I personally havent found many reviews on any Jamaican DJs so I kinda went with my gut here - Sure the above are good reviews of Kevan (but mostly by noobs and lurkers) and on his facebook page (which he of course has control over) but I chose him because he just seemed very professional. He always responds to my emails in a timely matter and has helped me out finding things in Jamaica that were not really related to his job. His website is also very professional and he is a BDW vendor as well  This is what he quoted me for my wedding:  WEDDING DJ SILVER PACKAGE $550.00 (this package is for up to 4 hrs of music) Free meet and greet consultation with your DJ professional digital sound system cordless microphone for speeches and introductions wide variety of music  I didnt bother to negotiate the price with him because it fit my budget and he really put a lot of time and effort in with me before I even hired him. Having a good DJ is SUPER important to me. Not only to have good music (my family LOVES to dance) but to have the option to request songs throughout the night, and have someone MC the event. You dont get that from your Ipod.  That's about all the info I can give you ladies atm! I'm 3+ months from my big day so on my return you can expect a thorough review of all my vendors, if you can wait till then

Jess - Definetly give them a call, ask to talk to the management. and ask when Tameica is in. She is the WC there at the moment. Good luck! Let us know how it goes. Â We booked roughly 6 months in advance. I have guests that are still booking (3 months until) and Im sure I'll have more stragglers too. Luckily rates are pretty much the same as they were when we booked. Â I think as long as you stuff something into the top of vase, like a sock or something just to pack it in tightly while its in the suitcase it should be fine. Almost every desti bride does them, so fitting! Â Yes you can. I still don't know the meaurements of the huppa though, does anyone? Â Â Mobayjabride - Your photos are beautiful! Yes, I have heard that EMS is not as reliable, but it is delivered by Canada Post once it gets here - so atleast you don't have to worry about some ridiculous brokerage fees. UPS has the WORST brokerage fees - I'm crossing my fingers.

  Hi Lisa,  Another Canadian member who ordered from Gianinar said that they delivered it via TNT from China and it arrived at her door by UPS. She said she got a bill from TNT for $25 and that was it. Shipping was very fast.  Mine is in alteration stages then they'll be sending it to me in Ontario. I will definetly post here what (if any) the additional postage costs are for me, but I don't expect mine for another month or so. Â

Hi Less! Â I think mine is $120 + $60 shipping to Canada. They usually seem to be between $100-$200, depending on how complicated it is. Is that about right ladies?
