    Does your wedding package include a champagne toast after the ceremony? If so you could do your dance just after your ceremony while your guests sip champagne. You will presumably already have a sound system set up there from the ceremony... Then you could slip off to do your photos? I agree with the other brides here that you need to discuss it with your WP and NOT with your groom until you have some options and know exactly what you want to do

    Hello Ladies! So glad to see there is finally an active thread on the Grand Bahia in Jamaica! Currently I'm booked at the Iberostar, but my resort was closed this summer due to low occupancy and its left a bad taste in my mouth. I think they have re-opened now that the season's picked up, but my second choice was def GBRB. I'll be watching this thread closely and comparing with Iberostar. Please post any all information you have gathered - specifically about the cost for private receptions, etc. Thank you!!

    Wow that's rough! I totally understand your dilemna since I am kinda also sharing the wedding planning spotlight with my sis who is getting married this summer before me. I wish I had better advice for you but I think that you have to just talk to her, honestly and openly. Tell her how much she means to you but that the whole thing is urking you out. Maybe through the discussion you will come to some terms that will work for both of you... I hope it all works out!!
