Has anyone else run into this or know what's going on? I realize that resort is closed right now, so I'm not sure if it's due to that or not. I thik the issue is probably that they are closed right now.. my TA told me that they should be opening as of tomorrow though, so hopefully if you send your questions to the generic WP email address: [email protected] later this week, you can get some response! (I know I will be!) My WC was Sandy before they closed, but I havent even tried to contact her since the closing.

I hear you on your concerns about the ROR threads. I agree that its pretty much up to us members to dissuade people from starting new threads for the same resort. I do try to do this for the IRH by directing new threads to our original one, but I was lucky in that there only was one when I joined I would hope that if somehow you or Maureen were able to combine the ROR threads and then put it up with a sticky, it would be noticed more easily by the noobs. ROR seems to be sooo popular that a sticky does make sense... and hopefully from there the members can try to dissuade new threads? any ROR brides out there have any ideas?
  7. I wanted to include a pre-rsvp response card with my STDs so that I can (hopefully!) get an idea of how many guests would like to come. So, pocketfold STDs were the way to go for me But, being the creative type, I wanted something unique and my own design. I used 12X12 scrapbooking paper, ribbon, some great scrapbooking tools and my time & patience to create these. I bought the pocketfold supplies at 25-50% off from Michaels and a local scrapbooking store. Also, being a graphic designer, I have contacts in the printing industry who were only more than happy to print the actual STDs and RSVP cards for me... for free!! I saved alot of money doing these myself. My STDs only cost me roughly $.75 each to create. That includes the supplies, envelopes, glue, and taxes. It does not include the cost for stamps or some of the large scrapbooking tools that I already had or use for other crafting. This is the Pocketfold, all folded up. I used my silhouhette sd paper cutter to cut the starfish shape out of scrapbooking paper and vecro dots as a clasp. I also used a fiskars corner cutter to make the 'rounded' edges on the flap. The tiffany blue ribbon I got at Michaels. Pocketfold all opened up. The pre-rsvp and a return envelope are in the pocket. STD card up close. I did say I would follow with a formal invitation, but, we'll see. In hindsight I don't really see the point in sending an invite if most people will book the trip before I even send them out! Front of Pre-RSVP Inside of Pre-RSVP. I asked for their response, how many people are coming with them (bringing the kids?), their email address, a chance to ask for stuff to be mailed to them (instead of email), and a comment box. Back of Pre-RSVP. I left a space so that I can write the guest's name on the back so I know who is RSVPing. Thanks for checking out my STDs! Below are some links for those who are interested in my tools and supplies: This is where I buy my 12X12 cardstock: Scrapbooking Ideas and Supplies This is my sillhouette cutting machine. Its similar to a Cricut, but will cut any clipart or shape I have on my computer. Its the ultimate scrapbooking toy! 8. How 'bout a sticky for The Iberostar Rose Hall resorts? I've tried to steer people from starting new threads for that one so we really only have one that I know of http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-brides-34054/ Good luck with organizing those ROR threads. So many brides get married there!! Unfortunately, I'm not one of them so I'm not much help

  17. If you are ok with a smaller wedding, in a beautiful location with the friends and family who really care about you - than do it. If you want a big wedding with everyone you know there. You may want to consider going local. Check out this forum, you will find a TON of info here. Best of luck!
  18. Hi Everyone - Just wanted to update the thread - Another BDWer told me she spoke to the IRHB resort and Uncle Tony's can comfortably fit up to 150 people.
