JHarris it is a great restaurant. By the way it is also right next to Deseo http://www.hoteldeseo.com/ this is a great spot to go out with the girls for a few martinis. The atmosphere is awesome and your on this huge roof top with lounge areas. Like I said the food is really good, I hope they give you good pricing for a group. However nothing is going to be as cheap as doing it at the resort. Form all the reviews I have heard Marias is the best spot for a rehearsal dinner, especially with a group of 40. Â Lisa love both of your dresses! you are going to look stunning. You got a lot done.

Hi Ladies one really good place that does group bookings if you are looking for a dinner or something of that nature of the resort is Di Vino Glass Bar http://www.theglassbar.com.mx Check out their menu. FI and I have eaten here a lot and the service is amazing. It is only about two blocks away from The Royal.

I know I cannot believe it! the time just flew. I super detail orientated and extremely organized and still some how the time flew by and things I wanted done by now aren't ahahaha but thats ok we are working on them now.  This weekend to do  Ceremony programs Table numbers Place cards Door Hangers Pashmina Tags Play List For Ivan  I just ordered my clutch from etsy I will show you guys when it comes in Also from Etsy a banner that says just married and than another one that says thank you and drink stirrers  I got 7 parasols for BM's, MOH and one for me from Asian ideas - I will be sure to take pics and let you guys know how those are to  Yesterday I sent check list, ceremony, and a word doc of all my details to Zulma Sent over the final choices to Yazmin for Kool Filled out all the forms for Samuel our photog like what shots and the timeline Sent everyone the timeline of everything  Arranged all the limos for here and there and got all our guests set up with the transportation. Still dealing with BS from Sand N Sun Vacations by the way but today was the final day for everyone to pay their rooms. I cannot wait more than anything to be done with them  By the way ladies recommendations for transportation:  Cancun Transfers http://www.cancuntransfers.com/ they have the best rates  Best Day Travel http://www.bestday.com/ you have to call but can negotiate good prices  Next weekend we are all going to pick up the bridesmaid dresses. I am praying more than anything that there are no issues there. I ladies I have been to Alux a few times, it is a really cool place but just to let you know in my experience the food was never good. I would think about doing apps and drinks.

Hi Lisa,  it is one block away and ya no beach but they gave us free passes to the beach at Wickys and Mamitas which we loovveeee not to mention they have a beautiful lazy river pool  Are some of your guests thinking of staying there? We have guests staying there. It is my favorite spot and we always go there every year.

Hi ladies for those of us who had to deal with the whole Mexicana fiasco, I just had a great idea. When the swine flu happened I saw a lot of brides with signs in their guests pictures that said "we survived the swine flu" Â I am going to make one that says we made it and survived with out Mexicana lol

Hi Ladies just to let you know I just heard from my non-resort WC about using US dollars and here is what she said, Â "Hi Jess, Yes, there is a new law in Mexico about the us dollars so as soon as you get in the country you can go to a bank and change some dollars for pesos. There is a certain amount of money to exchange per day per person."

Jennifer I am so sorry to hear that! I had the same thing happen to me. I am not having any flower girls because all 4 of my cousins got pregnant and are all due last week in October first two weeks in November  I feel for you a lot more though that it is your sister. I would be happy and mad to. Don't worry it will all work out and she will be there by your side.   So weird question but is anyone worried about guests seeing you before the wedding when your taking pictures lol I know totally irrational of me but I cant remember spots of where to go. Hopefully our photog will know.  Any recommendations from previous brides or those that just went on a site visit?

Well I am just getting these small square glass holders 4 per table and they were $4 each. So I not sure how much an arrangement gos for like the one I described. Â I rented a ton of luminary candles through my WC who is getting them from Cancun and those were a lot pricier. Â At one point I was debating ordering them from here, http://www.qcandles.com/ Â but than I really did not want the hassle of lugging more stuff down. I already have 5 bags yikes! lol

Hi Jhanna, Â He does have candles, hes doing some for me. If you go on his website there is a really pretty arrangement of candles in glass hurricanes with rose petals. I love that arrangement.
