Hi Ladies, For any Bermuda Brides I just featured a gorgeous destination wedding on my blog from Tuckers Point Club. The wedding planners from Bermuda Bride did an awesome job. This is a really stunning venue.

As I have said Wickys is awesome sorry I don't have pictures of the location just the beach. But we are doing our welcome dinner there and Linda the event planner was awesome to work with. Just let them know your budget and they are totally willing to work with you. The location is right on the water and it is a beautiful spot.

Lady_Di - ya very true totally understand well I hope it gets sorted out pronto FutureMrsYak - Others have ran into the same dilemma. Well Guests could always go and freshen up and relax. Others have assigned someone to escort everyone to a bar like to lobby bar to have drinks and fun. Another alternative is to set up a "cocktail" hour of premises at a near by bar or restaurant and talking to those restaurants about doing an open bar and maybe some appetizers and coming up with a package for a good price. If you need a any suggestions for the cocktail hour out of the royal I have the info for some great places really near by.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Our group will be about 50 - 60 people, and we are looking to have dinner, an open bar, and an area for dancing and speeches. Thanks in advance! Hi Angie we are having our reception at Kool Beach Club KOOL - Restaurant bar by playa tukan it has all the above We are also having our welcome dinner at Wickys which would also make a wonderful location for a reception Untitled And also there is Mosquito Blue Playa Del Carmen Hotels | Mexico Resorts | Mosquito Blue Hotel & Spa, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico let me know if you have any other questions

Picked it up this am and it is about 100 times better!!! We had about 35 people, and he kept them dancing all night long! My guests LOVED the balloons, masks, and glow sticks they brought. The light up dance floor was phenomenal. EVERYONE thought that was the neatest thing. My wedding and reception will be talked about for a long time, thank you IVAN!!!! You guys are awesome! Awesome love to hear good reviews!! I can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it

Just the buffets are casual, when we went for our site visit none of the guys had sneakers so I would say no. Jeans and pants, but my FI is doing loafers and boat shoes to be more comfortable. Hope that helps.

Runningbride I know every says the seating charts are the worst part of any wedding planning. They always cause issues lol but I also see what Jenny is saying. How will you be able to tell that table 4 for example has 4 beef and 3 chicken? I believe they need to know ahead of time who at what table is getting what. Also when we went on our site visit for seating a table of 6 is perfect! Zulma said no more than 8 and we saw a table of 8 and it looked pretty tight. You can just let your WC know how many at a table you want.

welcome! that is great that you are starting so early. I wish I would have started much earlier.

We went with individual booking through our TA. The reason being for group rates everyone has to put a deposit down. I was not sure how responsible our group would be with that lol and we were not comfortable with fronting the money for everyone. I have to say individual booking worked out great. We let everyone know that rates change all the time but they just keep going up and that our TA would match any other on line sites if they pay in full. This got everyone booking very quickly and handling their own plans , less stress for me lol

Hopefully you have someone now in light of the change from us to Mexico. I have however also seen other brides who just showed they put tables together. Your day is almost here you must be so excited! when do you leave?

We are planning a scouting trip sometime in August and would like to have a few places picked by then. So far we have looked at Ceiba del Mar, Le Reve (it looks amazing), Ana and Jose (in Tulum a little bit far. Have any of you been to these hotels? Or any others that you would recommend? Let the fun begin!!!! Hi Lisa welcome and let the planning begin I looked at Le Reve and Ana and Jose. Both amazing places. I think what it really boils down to is a few factors of what you are looking for. Do you want more night life like in Playa Del Carmen if you are looking for something more quite Tulum is very beautiful and the perfect location. Than of course there is budget for your guests. Le Reve I found was on the pricier side but the location is so amazing that if your guests could do it I would def keep it on my list. I hope you have an awesome site visit - if you can do it, it is so worth it you will have an amazing time.

Dinaep you look so beautiful! everything came out perfect - so do you recommend wearing hair up because of the wind factor Rachel - welcome!!! ditto with what running bride said. This thread is a wealth of information and if you go through them you will find your answers plus much much more. I would grab a glass of wine and enjoy going through it
