Hi Ladies, I'm getting married January 15th, 2011 at MP. I can't wait. I got the dress, photographer, videographer, ceremony booked on the beach... and that's about it. I need to get to work. I've been looking for flights but I haven't found any direct flights from Los Angeles to Cancun. -Jess

Hey everyone, I'm getting married in January 15, 2011. I'm so excited 10 more months to go. I have my rooms blocked, dates set, and photographer booked (they are staying as our guests). I'm not using a travel agent, just the resort. gemmalou- I was really hesitant to have the resort photographers because they didn't get any good reviews, a lot of brides were really sad because their photos came out so bad! I would recommend that you find your own photographer. I'm using KTBweddings.com I'm looking for flights to Cancun, but can't find any direct flights. I heard it was best direct if you can, or not to have stops in Mexico just in case anything happens. I'm working on all the details to the wedding now so I don't have to stress about this right before the wedding or during the holidays. Hopefully, the time and stress I put in right now will save me right before the wedding. One of the things I'm looking at right now are the decorations and table decor for the reception. I want lots of real flowers for my wedding but they are so expensive! And with the no outside vendor policy its really difficult to figure out what I should do. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm getting married January 2011 and I'm looking to have lots of REAL flowers at my wedding. I wonder if you just pay for the outside guest fee we can get them to deliver... just a thought. I could say that I have a relative who lives here who is giving me flowers as a gift. I guess we'll see what happens. (just an idea) let me know if anyone does this.

I know a lot of people who used Chantix and it's worked for them... for those who have smoked for a very long time might look into a Nicotine Replace Therapy (NRT). I think its easier for closet smokers to quit smoking if they aren't addicted to the nicotine. But for those who are it's a little more complicated. I think many of you ladies are on the right track. Get the support you need along with a nicotine replacement to help with the urges... Good luck!!

Hi! I'm right there with you... I'm looking into having my wedding in Punta Cana. I've looked at Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort and it's a bit expensive for my guests (even with member rates b/c they have to stay for 8 days/7 nights) I wanted to get married March 2010 but I think it's too soon for many people... So I'm thinking of moving my date to February 2011. I've been looking at so many places and I'm going to start doing so major research so I'll keep you posted. Feel free to email me if you'd like! I have a friend who has a timeshare at the Moon Palace in Cancun and her family loves it there. She's seen several weddings and she said it was amazing. I'm looking into the DR Moon Palace... but we'll see. Good Luck!
