  1. My sister (Matron of Honor) is throwing my bridal shower in my home town next weekend and my wedding is in January. My bestfriend is throwing me a bachelorette party in Vegas a month later and then the holidays and the main event! my wedding. I can't wait!! All of our bridal events are about three months before the wedding.
  2. I love your NY pictures. It makes me want to go back and take professional pictures too! Congrats!
  3. The resort would set everything up. You'd just have to provide them with the detailed instructions. I want to have beautiful decorations but I don't want to do it myself.... and I don't want to spend tons of money. Hopefully, my resort will provide beautiful center pieces and I don't have to bring anything besides be dress and swim suit!
  4. I really like this one, especially since its out doors!
  5. The fees depend on where you have the wedding or events and how many people or rooms you have or will have. If you have 25 rooms or 75 room nights then you can get unlimited private functions but they try to get you with all the fees of the locations and they pay for your room! I am not sure if I'll meet the requirements but I'm really close right now.
  6. Thanks chancey9 the link is very helpful. We got the presidential suite and now that we know the 2nd room is a double bed I have to see if my moh still wants to share it with me...
  7. We just ordered water proof cameras so that our guests can take pictures in the water for $7 ea.
  8. Thanks for your review! It is going to help me with my wedding in January. You looked beautiful!
  9. Alison15 - did they try to charge you extra fees because you brought your own decor?
  10. Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to do my center pieces with deco cancun too!
  11. I agree with Taryn20. Many of my friends, family, and co workers who will not be attending have asked me where or if we've registered. I think it's a good idea even if you don't want or expect gifts. We don't really want or need anything but there are a few things I've had my eye on
  12. CrIstina7458 If your going with a travel agent I'd use Tammy Wright. They have a link on the top banner. I've been working with the moon palace directly because I'm going through a member. But they seemed to have the best prices and reviews. I've looked and contacted many ta to see what other people offered and her company seemed to be the cheapest. Good luck!
  13. Melissa Gomez is the best! I was assigned to her at one point. But then was passed around to four different wedding coordinators because Lisa Lizano got promoted to supervisor. After given the wrong information Melissa Gomez was the only one that responded to my emails, picked up my phone calls, and actually made the resort respond back to me. Without her I probably would still be waiting. I have Janina Mendoza right now and so far so good. (lets keep our fingers crossed!) But Melissa is WONDERFUL!
  14. I am going to find out if I can get a lower rate. My WC originally gave me the incorrect prices which ended up being cheaper and they finally honored the rates after a month of ignoring me. And now I'm finding out that the rates for guests staying 6 nights or less is way more. ($247.20 per person/per night). I'm going to see what my wedding coordinator says.
  15. I love both dresses. I got a mermaid dress too and I love it! Although it has a pretty long train, I don't care. I love it! It'll make for gorgeous pictures. Good luck!
