Question: for those who isn't having or didn't have a private reception, did you still do the bouquet and garter toss? I so desperately want to include this in my wedding. Are you having BM, will you be introducing the bridal party at dinner?

I'm in the same boat, we don't have the cash to have a reception. Our whole point of doing a DW was to cut cost, and most of the cost is in a reception. I rented out the leigon for $1 because my dad is a member (anyone can become a member now, even in Ontario for $35) I'm doing hot, cold buffet for 70ppl under 500$ It wont be high top end food, but it'll fill ppl up! I have a friend for a dj but for those who don't, sent up a laptop, or Ipod to speakers that they usualy have there.

Thing is your not allow to take sand from the beach home. Nor sea shells. But it might be totaly different, they probably have alot of brides go through with different color sand, they realize we didn't take it from the beach. I read somewhere on here a bride had no problem taking back her sand from the ceremony. I highly doubt there is a way not to get the sand mix up tho on your way home. Who knows, maybe it'll look better!

But you can swtich some of the things for more wedding theme. I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something better!

me neither, lol but by all my mean, they will get in there!! I would have let you borrow them, but you'll be having dinner at the same time as me probably. If it works out that we don't, and it'll work with your things I have no problem lending them!

I set up a web page for guest to check out for all the travel info, I have a tab that says gift registry I put in that part: We only want your presence, if your unable to attend, please keep us in your mind and hearts on our special day. I think you are just fine and not rude at all to let your guest know you don't want anything. Who knows maybe after having to pay for their vacation it might be a little relief!

Dress #2 came in.. I'm so happy it's finaly my size (I bought it at size 12!) Let me know what you guys think, I have a little bit of a creas on the high stomach area and a little on the side, think it's to tight? The first pic has allot more crease because I have one leg a little higher.

I got 2 dress's .One of which is for dancing in DR and doing the TD. I will wear my dress all night long.It's the perk of having AHR! My family appreciates the fact we are throwing a reception because they truely didn't want to miss seeing me in my dress and getting together with all the families. I think it'll be fun, We are having the hot cold buffet (more cold since it'll be July) lots of dancing, pay bar (beer is 3.25$ mix drink is 4$) Gift wis: whatever we get or don't get we will be happy, our dream was to have a DW, after that I could care less!

3-4 months is def enough time to figure out if your coming or not. I too gave that amount of time.
