  1. ok so I sent the e-mail out today!!! I need to know your guys opinion. Did I come off to strong? I really hope not.. I don't want to look like bridezilla!! Good Afternoon, How are you? I am terrible sorry for having to send this e-mail out, I don't want anyone to feel like I am harassing anyone, however this information does need to be handed out. As most of you know, our rsvp date was October 1st. We did not receive most of your rsvp's. We realized people need more time to figure out their vacation plans for April. I've ask for an extension, our wedding coordinator was very understanding. She gave me a new rsvp date for January 15th 2010. The way it works: We must give our coordinator a full head count (which was suppose to be done Oct but thank god for great people and now the due date is Jan 15) This is how many people she sets the wedding up for chair's,menus, cake, alcohol. If I don't have an rsvp now for Jan 15 and someone decides March they want to come, there will be a fee added, which we are not willing to pay. Same thing if you say yes, and at the end your not coming there is a fee add. It is very important that Mike and I know your rsvp no later then Jan 15th as this is when we have to contact our coordinator again. Also we are making gift bags, and We can not do this last minute either, another reason why it is important to rsvp. Let's make this very clear, when we say we want your rsvp, we don't mean you have to purchase your package right away, you can do this whenever you please, even if that means 1 week before we leave. We just need to know your attention of coming or not. No one needs to book their package yet, or of Jan 15. Again you can book whenever you feel your ready. Please visit our site for all information. Welcome to our Destination Wedding Website | Welcome | TracyandMike you can even rsvp on the website! Thank you so much for your understanding, and we appreciate any response. Yours truly, Tracy and Mike
  2. Thanks so much for the detailed post. So very helpful and allot of question answered!!!
  3. Ottawa Bride You must be getting sooo excited!!! your day will be here very soon, When are you leaving for the resort?! You'll have to give up a full report when you get back with pics!!!
  4. KittenHeart I'm will you on that, I don't have weight to lose (maybe actually gain a few) I just really need to tone like you. I found this site to be helpful in giving me some poses for work outs for the butt arms, stomach. Hope it helps you. Oh and from your picture, are very sexy and beautiful, you should be proud to be in a bikini, allot of woman would kill to have a bod like that (without the work outs) Fitness: Programs, Exercise and More | Women's Health Magazine

If only I had got real information, maybe I could have done what I wanted all along (to get married by a priest on the ocean) Fustrating!!! I do know the extra work, don't you need to get your priest from home to sign something as well?!? I was told this too. *sigh* Courtney:LOL real shoes?! you've gotta post them!!! I'm sure you'll have no problem finding flip flops, not sure what your looking for, Old Navy still has a wall of them, for $5 Or you can find an avon dealer, they have some really cute ones, still!
  6. I say go with the fake as well!!! ANd if you could get a friend to lend you hers just for the pics, that would be even more amazing!! GregsBride Don't worry you'll get in your dress in time!! The get fit thread will help motivate you!!
  7. Suzy, I think the have mostly change location to Halifax,Sydney,Lunenburg,Yarmouth We loved it there, I would love to buy land there I found a few lots lol!! I say go ahead eat the brownies, and work twice as hard tomorrow! I love brownies and I've been craving them too!!! Have a bite for me To be honest, You wouldn't realize just how much cals your losing but walking around the house, or going around from place to place doing errands. You probably lost 2,000-3,000 cals on top of carrying the baby, or put the stroller in and out of the car. So don't worry!! enjoy!
  8. I may just have to steal your on day on All you need is love- Beatles!! good picks!!!
  9. ok here are the shoes I bought.. I got these ones for $49 (not that good of a deal) I got these from Avon for $10 these will be just for the ceremony (unless my feet hurt towards the end of the night)
  10. I think those are all really good points!! I may just stick with my gazebo idea. Thank goodness for you, I would have probably only thought about those things only when I arrived!!
  11. soo!! The FI BM plays guitar so I'm getting him to play my song Canon in C for walking down. But sadly he wont be able to make it down, so it'll be on my Ipod. I figured it'd be still a good way to include him even tho he can't be there. I love all your picks!!! I don't come on this threat to often because I would be changing my mind all the time lol
  12. your so right!! I will send that e-mail after all. Maybe I am wrong (and your totaly right) people will appreciate a reminder as life can make you very busy! especialy if you have kids. I will send that email!! Thanks!! That's so funny, I got my FI best man to play my song walking down the asile (Canon, in C on gutair) But sadly he wont be able to make it, so it wont be played live, it'll be on my Ipod. Your puppies are sooo adorable!!! They look like the perfect dogs to cuddle up with in the cold winter days!
  13. oohhh, I may just reconsider doing a beach party after dinner then, especially if i only have 17 guest in the end it wont cost much at all, and I wont look cheap by doing it in the garden and making people walk to the bar for their drinks, Q: Do I have to hire a dj? Or can I just do my Ipod thing? Courtney: I wouldn't want you to do your own hair on your vacation/wedding either!! Oh yeah , curling is nothing, unless of course it's my hair, it never curls!!!

I'm not sure! good question I wouldn't mind doing the same thing. That is something you would have to speak to Carolina about. What I decided to do, have the dinner(not private) and then get one of my BM to leave dinner a little early to set up one of the gazebos with paper laterens with light in them and hoock up my Ipod/speakers and dance away. But the guest will have to walk to the bar if they want a drink. (I will suggest everyone bring their mugs I'm giving in the OOT bags) This way you don't have to pay for a bar tender, or a dj! I know I'm cheap lol
  15. QUOTE=Gooner;1015283]Anybody have a price list for a Grand Palladium wedding. Thanks for everybody's input but i see differing prices :S Is it 50 or 60 per head for the beach reception? Also does the private bartender cost include drinks or are they charged separately. Also, CaribbeanLove, pics received....thanks again! Thanks! http://http://palladiumaddict.net/PC...ngs%202009.pdf I swear it's $60US for the private beach reception. It does include alcohol. The link is for the wedding packages, they have 2 to pick from, crystal and dimond, ask away if you have anymore question it's what the forum is for!!
  16. My work out yesterday (I do my work-out after dinner) 30 min jog/walk 15 crunch's x 3 10 lunges x 2 vacuum total cals lost:2,002 Total cals in take :650 I know I'm slacking.. but it burns it burns so bad lol keep up with the motivation, I need it!!
  17. Your girls are nuts!! I mean the dentiest!! that's insane..I don't mind it, but i def don't look forward to it. I wish I hard your frame of mind! lol nikicrosby, good for you!!! you would never catch me up that early, let along working out. I admire you!! Suzy, Dartmourth, my FI father grew up there! what a small world! and both you and Melidell know the schools you've been too, way to small of a world!!
  18. haha looks like our FI are the same!! I have to decide what him and the GM will wear. And he has said the same thing 'girls like doing this stuff' which is true, but a little help or an opinion would be great!! Gooner Sending the pic a.s.a.p
  19. Thanks suzy for the site, looks like in the end I will order from there! I was hoping to get something from an real canadian site from Canada, when the ship stuff from the states to Canada you have to pay a duty fee, when I ordered my invites they were $65 and the duty fee was $25!!! I said I would never do that again... looks like I might =( Meghan,I can't decided which site to get from either, when you decide let me know
  20. KittenHeart it's wasn't a easy descion huh!! I had a hard time too! but finaly decided to go for it. from your pic, I really don't think you need to work out, you look great!!!! big3n09, I think the bands would be an amazing idea for work, especially if the FI looses everything (that's me, I loose everything, I would loose my head if it wasn't attached lol)
  21. Quote: Originally Posted by Gooner Thanks for the responses ^ Does anybody have pictures / opinions on the beach reception, does dinner get served on the beach too? The major stumbling point would be if they could do a catholic ceremony at the Gazebo.... Thank You! -Chris if you pm me your e-mail address I do have a pic of the beach reception. You can do catholic ceremony, but in DR they only marry you in the church. So what you could do, get married at the church with the priest. Then arrange a different time for the judge to come and make it legal at one of the gazebo's. Or, you can get married at Home with your priest and then go to DR and do a symbloic wedding (cheaper)
  22. I have the exact same thoughts!! Glad I am not the only one!

The new gazebo is on the Bavaro side. Yes you can have your reception on the beach. The cost is $60 per person. shankd your a fire fighter?! Good for you girl!!! guess you wont need to work out for the wedding lol!! I'm sure none of the guys want to talk about weddings. Courtney: will you be doing your own hair then? I would have loved to do hair (just not my thing that I'm good at) lucky you tho plenty of people to talk to about your wedding. I don't work, so I have no one but the BM, but the FI understands and lets me talk about it as much as I want, I just can't expect an answer!
  24. I'm with you on that, I even type up a reminder e-mail but still haven't sent it since my rsvp date has come and gone and no one has contacted me, thinking of just letting people do what they want. For the people who tell me they are coming will get an OOT bag and a favour! It's fustrating, I don't know if I should send the e-mail and nag, or not!
