Thanks guys for the postcard comments!! Suzy, I love the whole story of how you figured his name out. I love his name.. It's so adorable, I don't think you need to change it. I use to HATE Tracy , I grew up to like it lol (I use to be called Dick Tracy) imagine the lucky girl who will be dating him, I would have love to have a bf name that!! Thanks for the great idea, I will so put them in the oot bags, this way i don't have to send them out, save on stamps/$ shortnsweet7675 LOL I was going to say, sure I am totaly pc friendly and know how to make postcards. To make me look smart, But I decided to tell you the real truth (lol) I got them from vistaprint.ca they were free, I just had to pay for shipping!! they even have vistaprint for USA. (www.vistaprint.com) They are currently still free, check it out! echo2_62 I love love your centerpiece. I think it will come out looking amazing. Great pick for the lights, great idea.. I'm sure it'll be worth it all!!

Courtney, she did, 2:30pm but like she said, the time can change if the judge changes his time. So really I don't know, just like you. I will find out when I have my meeting with her Sunday the 11th of april. Shank, I love the dress, I don't think many body types could pull this off tho. Do you think your sis may be a little hot in it? If not, I say go for it, it's beautiful and stunning!!

I got my post cards (invite) for our AHR but I should have thought to use it at our DW sorry for it being so big, have no idea what happened. And for odd reason some wording is missing 'now they are back from their fun in the sun and promised forever their lives as one....'

I showed it to my BM's the other evening and they really liked it so that makes me happy too. We actually had our first official 'meeting' together - bottles of wine included - and got dresses picked out yay! We're getting the flirty convertible dress from Victoria Secret (VS Flirty Convertible Dress) in the blackberry colour and all the girls are excited to see which style they like best. AND, we're totally going to play pranks on our guests too We decided that they could each wear whichever style they liked best for the ceremony and then afterwards, and throughout the afternoon/evening, they're going to randomly change which style they have on - except when they do that all three girls will change into the same style. So we're going to do some test runs to make sure that the material under an armpit for one style doesn't end up across the boobs in another style. Deodorant stains wouldn't be so flattering!! Plus we got them on sale for an extra 20% off. ohhh that sounds like so much fun!!! I can't wait to see pics!! they will be amazing. That's such a funny idea, Love it!!!

btw- I love your new pic.. what is your son's name? His just to adorable. I hope I get as lucky as you do for such a quiet and sweet baby. (not a baby anymore, right?!)

Suzy, they will send you an e-mail saying it's you last chance for XX item. I think you'll be ok with working on it for awhile longer. I've been working on the Brochures but it's hard to finalize anything when you have no idea when people will be arriving (I'd like to arrange a meet and greet, but I have no idea when this should be done since I have no rsvp's) LOL your to funny, to send an e-mail to all of the guest to make sure they notice the lights. I love it!!

I went through the same darn thing for my invites, I had ordered them from a USA site. Let me warn you about something, The price that you paid is allot, but when you go pick it up, or the people bring it do your door, they will ask you for more money. You still haven't paid the duty fee!!! which will probably cost you about $25-40 The company I bought the invites from never said anything to do with more money, I called them and said it wasn't up to them to let me know, they wouldn't even know how much it cost!! sooo frustrating, this is why I'm only looking for canada websites to order, tote bags, travel mugs. sorry you had to go through that!!! I really hope the lights are worth it, and you really like them!

I have high hopes for you, and finger's crossed. Tho I am sure you'll find something you like. Seems like it might be easier for you, to go try a few different types of dress. My SIL was like you, had no idea what she liked, color, bead work or not. We narrowed it down everytime she tryed a dress on, she would say what she likes about it and didn't, she tryed on 3 dress and found hers. So there is hope for you

Dollar Dance? Heard of it?
caribbeanLover replied to JoLo908's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I responded only after reading the first page, oopps... Let me just say, if it's a tradition in your family, you will not need to explain what's going on. I grew up to this, so for me and my family it's normal. FI family knows all about it. Guest do not need to do it, but I have yet to meet one person who hasn't done it (that would be weird) not like you have to put allot of money, it could be $5! -

We do it in our family (french family) We will do it for AHR. It's fun, allows you to mingle with your guest, and it's true you can make a pretty buck or two! lol -

Our travel agent told us we'd have them 300 days before our departure, we are now almost at 200 days and still nothing. I've looked on Air Transat's website and they don't have flights either. We are going through Signature Vacations. I'm beginning to worry that they won't have flights in May since Mexico is very slow right now..... Cara I try to work with a TA but they kept quoting me $300-450 more then the prices on the internet. So I finaly decide not to work with one, and just book our trip on Itravel2000. I also set up a website for guest, I'm pretty much my own TA lol I got a good deal, because the day after I booked, the price went up $150. I count myself lucky, for booking early. On a normal vaca I would book 3 weeks before. Sometimes 1 week before!!

But if you can find a resort that still has the judge free, I totaly think you can pull it off, but for a dress you'd probably have to get off the rack, unless you go order a dress tomorrow, you may get lucky. It may be a little stressful, but if it's what you really want, I say go for it!!! Where are you looking for? Mexico, DR...? You may have more chance if you go to a place that has allot of judge, priest. Punta Cana from what I am told does not. It gets booked a year in advance.

Def helps!! This is one main reason I didn't go with a TA because I knew people wouldn't know in time, or didn't have that kind of money laying around the house. so i just put up a website, pretty much I'm the TA lol but I have no spaces booked for anymore. I'm assuming tho, it shouldn't be a problem with ppl booking last min. Did you have to put the deposit down to put aside 10 seats?
